Sorry, forgot to include the info that my car has past the 2 year mark recently. So it's not eligible for the discounted price. Nevertheless, the car is still under warranty. Think I'll go for battery change outside since others has kinda helped confirm it's a battery problem.

Yea, I don't trust what is being auto-diagnosed. Sometimes, the messages may not reflect the true problem. I've heard positive reviews about Varta too. That's what I'm targeting now.

Maybe CX-5 diesel engine quite sensitive, coz now EURO 5 diesel is not pure diesel anymore.

Is call biodiesel, a blend of palm oil into the diesel. For example B7 EURO 5 mean got 7% of palm oil blend into the diesel.

Not every diesel engine tune to support biodiesel.

Going to officially join the club in 2 weeks time with the 2.2D variant. Got few questions as first time diesel engine user.

1. What are the types of diesel suitable for CX-5 and which petrol station should I go? I saw above but I’m completely lost. Need someone to dumb it down for me.

2. Should I switch Mazda’s original rims and tyres for some lighter ones? I generally do for previous cars as ori rims are heavy but my SA said that Mazda’s engine tuning is for the current rims. Any advice on this?

For me i will choose the highest CCA, which is Varta or Energizer.

2.2D uses T110 battery.
Outside are selling maybe RM600-650, or could be slightly cheaper if you shop around.
SC will charge you around RM8xx-9xx, depends if you have MPC discount or not.
But SC will give you 24 months /40,000 km warranty, whereas outside normally comes with 6 months / 12,000 km warranty only

Hi, would like to ask, anyone encounter front wheel knocking noise when passed through uneven road, and it is noticeable at passenger side.

Car year 2021, 2.0 High model. Mileage clocked about 12k, but already encounter this issues, quite disappointed with the build quality on a 150k-ish car.

Contacted HQ, but need appointment on weekdays to perform checking, which I don't have the time to do so. Hence asking members here if anyone encountered before, and mind to share the solutions.

1. Is the default activ-e film good enough at UV blocking?
2. Does the car come with dash cam? If not, any recommended options for both front and back?
3. Is I-stop really annoying in long traffic jam/slow moving traffic? If yes, is there a way to disable it?

Planning to test drive a cx-5, but sales person said there's no demo unit left. Had to wait til next month or November to test drive.
I'm now weighing on whether to get this (2.0 high spec) or Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid (the design really left a lot to be desired).

i just serviced my car at Sg Tiram SC in Penang and they refused to help changing the ATF anymore...told me this is a strict order from the HQ

Haha. I always kept things pretty standard. Not much crazy mods. I wish the braking is more Subaru like. But alas I need a smaller suv. My other choices is cx30, cross, hrv n Tiguan. All got their pros n cons
