Change my 1st new tyres from stock tyre. (Continental CrossContact LX Sport)
total run milleage: 89,759KM

New tyres: Michelin Primacy 4 SUV 225/65/17

* My driving mostly on highway 70% town 30%.
* Driving style, no drag, speeding just normal driving.
* Why last so long, the tyre boss said you have maintain the tyre on time (swift, balancing, alignment) & consistent.

It's a nice & good services shop:
Michelin Empire Auto Car Care Sdn Bhd
70, Jalan Tps 1/7, Taman Pelangi Semenyih,
43500 Semenyih, Selangor
018-221 8830
*
doubt the Continental UC6 can survive that long mileage. 15k km already had the front outside face botak on x70. Ask many, Continental really like that, and soft sidewall

For your next new tyre prefer to use SUV tyre.
SUV car is heavier than passenger car.
*
I believe that is Continental UC6 Suv tyre.

I guess the only way to boycott this tinting problem is to dont buy Mazda  cool2.gif
Tapi sudah beli la.. Does your car also can hear loud noise from cabin when revving the car? Is it the cars sound insulation problem? Does the CBU models like CX-3 and CX-30 has this problem too?
*
Can't be done as Bermaz already make it compulsory to take the accessories. I personally think the tint is poor even though the spec show quite high, IRR wise. Replaced my family cx5 front tint with better spec tint and double tint the rest considering already paid for that

Good luck in getting the b&w from Bermaz  tongue.gif
If you're worried about warranty, don't do any modification to your car, especially visible modifications as Bermaz SC will take photos of these mods when you send to them for servicing.

My left side mirror cannot fold again and they refused to replaced them during warranty as the cover has some minor scratches, and they said the motor failed as they suspected I hit something on the side mirror eventhough the problem arose much earlier and I already changed the same motor under warranty before.
*
I faced a similar situation regarding the side mirror, but my problem, was the mirror vibrates at 140kmh onwards at driver's side, passenger side ok on Honda Accord. SC typical said as yours, hit batu etc, ask them to retest it with a technician, a problem noted. The SC manager, initially don't want to help claim the warranty, I straight call the Hotline Honda, email some more, said the SC don't wanna entertain the warranty claim etc. 20 minutes later, SC manager come with a sorry to me and said parts already order and shown report claim done. 2 weeks after received a call to install as parts ready.

Buy new or used? Just make sure to make an atf change after certain km mileage, 30k km interval

Thank for the suggestion.

Btw, any members here that change ATF before could share if problems arise after that? SC insists gearbox will slip or other problems will possibly happen.

Now i also unsure should i change ATF or not. Scare change liao from no problem to become got problem. confused.gif
*
There are many owners who had their gb k.o after > 100k km, iirc one owner had his gb k.o at 120k km, he didn't do any atf change as per sc. Can follow cx5 fb car owners group. While there are also cx5 who had their gb ok even at high mileage but they perform the atf change at reputable workshop after certain km interval.

If there is oil in gbox then it has to be changed. No such thing as lifetime unless its lifetime is 5 years and die

Ford poweshift dryclutch also had similar approach but guess what ? Yeah gearbox failure
*
Bmw Malaysia also make theirs as seal for life ATF (old gen, not sure current gen) even though the gb maker ZF even recommended to make atf change after certain km. This free service parts and labour want to make more profit? Bmw Malaysia also give free labor and part

*
I face that situation with Toyota Kajang. Was looking the car to test drive, was told to come weekdays. Proceed pay booking with other brand

Mine is a slightly over 2yrs old car, I change my GB oil every year which I travel around 17k annually.

EML garage is highly recommended and in fact I just went there last week to change mine. The boss is very knowledgeable and will reset the timing for you after changing the oil. So its like back to default when you first get your car.
*
I will bring my family CX5 after this to the workshop. Just hit 31k km, plan to change the atf there.

So anyone here never change ATF after 100k and still running strong?
*
Got few cases, but got also owner who had the gb k.o at 110k, 140k and one at 180k km. All didn't change the atf as follow sc. From cx5 fb group. I wont change the atf if Bermaz give 5 years unlimited mileage warranty, but with 100k km capped, I will change the atf.

My other car change atf at 30k or 40k km, the atf look petty dark and doubt it can perform well to lubricate/remove heat from the gb

Thanks for recommendation. Yup contacted EML Auto Garage d, he told me he will only replace ATF w/o flushing or reset anything.

What worries me is i scare once change ATF, problem will arise because nobody knows what's the condition of my GB now. Mileage 100,384km as of today.
*
iiwu, I will change it asap, considering the mileage. I don't foresee why the problem will happen if change the atf, unless the shop uses wrongly spec ATF, lower or higher level filled up of ATF vs recommended. please keep using the stock/ recommended atf.

a long time ago, during waja time, many owners upgrade the ATF from factory recommended (mineral) to aftermarket atf (fully synthetic ATF), where the upgrade make some owner had the gb react differently and wrongly, kinda stuck at D2 and D3, especially at cold engine.

yes, EML garage will not do flushing as the machine is expensive, to flush properly, you need to leave the car there for a day or more, imagine how much if any workshop is going to charge to perform this.

Coz to do it properly, you need to flush it slowly and not quick as it will damage the GB.
*
Not really if the workshop use a flushing machine. If the car need 4L of atf, by flushing it need another 3-4L extra for flushing. That the expansive parts.
1-2 hours done

never heard, if maintained for the torque converter gearbox, it will last long. CVT will be hit and miss, many owner had CVT GB problem even take care it properly especially after hit certain high mileage.

What do you mean 'after' the warranty ends? We have 3 years warranty, so your first oil change is after 3 years?

not 5 years? Bermaz warranty covers 5 years, 100k km whichever earlier.

Yes. Whatever your warranty end. But if myself will just do it 80k-100K KM. Don’t worry. Factory seal synthetic oil is better in quality.
*
I would do on every 40k km interval for ATF change. My other car where I purposely change it at 30k km interval, the atf looks dark
