Can share what TPMS you are using? Gooding or not?
220kPa is too less, although quite comfy but fuel consuming. Tire too stick on the ground.

Mine inflate 240 to 250kpa as well.

But SC very crazy, inflate 330kpa for me.  mad.gif
*
I'm using this cheapo TPMS from PRC which I bought for RM70 during Lazada sala
TPMS

The sensors are easy to install, but very easy to be stolen too.
Those using internal sensors are very mafan to configure as during rotation time, have to inform the tyre shop staff which sensors go to which rims.

I used to inflate 270-280 kPa but the ride feels bumpy.
If the SC inflate to 330, after a spirited run or long drive, the pressure might reach 350, which is the maximum rated pressure for the stock Toyo 19" ranting.gif

Ya, I drive these 2 day, when corner slightly faster, can feel not so stable compare to previously high pressure.
I will increase to 230kPa try again few days later.
Yours' is 17" or 19" tyre?
If 19", 220 is kinda low

Oh my, that's a good item but it is troublesome to get fix in the tire shop.

But so far this tool are still good?
*
For TPMS with external sensors, installation is straight forward as you just replace the stock tyre valve caps with the sensors.
The risk is that any itchy hand can easily unscrew and steal the sensors.

So far this tool is still good as it serves the need.
There are other more expensive TPMS which can also link to you handphone, etc

Ahh, itchy hand...Malaysian have alot this kind one...

Those that able to link on our phone, so no need additional display unit on the dashboard?
*
No additional display needed but you need to install the apps in your handphone.
Normally these sensors are using bluetooth to connect to your handphone.

Installing these TPMS sensors won't void your warranty tongue.gif

can you share which brand/model having the capability (link to mobile phone), the sensor also install at valve caps? thank you

Locally, I only know Fobo TPMS
Fobo

Or you can consider this Xiaomi TPMS as it also has mobile apps, but the sensors need to be installed inside the wheel.

So basically installing the Apple CarPlay will take the whole day.
Total cost after getting their MPC membership is RM 1,256.05 + RM 100 membership.
So RM 1,356.05 total all in.
*
Thanks for sharing.
You manage to save around RM50 from SC list price and yet you get 3-years MPC membership. thumbup.gif

This is good enough if the TPMS work as expected. Being low cost is better as will not need to worry so much if got stolen. I might get one set also since got raya promo for it coming 2 days.
*
Good enough for my need and at affordable price of around RM70-80, costs less than a full tank of petrol.

This TPMS will automatically power-on or wake-up from standby when it detects vibration or impact such as closing the door or boot.
It will goes into standby when there are no impact or vibration after certain pre-set minutes but it will also goes into standby if stuck in a non-moving or slow moving traffic jam.
Need to press any of the button to wake the TPMS from stand-by

It come with usb cable, right? Did you connect the usb cable to power it up or just use the build in solar panel (will it work during night)?
*
It comes with micro-USB cable too.
It has internal battery too and it will still work at night (without pluggin the USB cable) if the battery is not depleted.

*
My SA said if really in emergency, just pump RM10-20 of normal diesel just enough to get you to the next station which have Euro5.

bro, i have a question, this TPMS cap come with thief lock thingy, right? it need a tool to open the cap, am i right? which mean even if we need to pump air, we also need to use the tool to open the cap? thank you
*
It comes with anti-theft nuts and also a mini wrench to unscrew the caps.
But I don't bother to use the anti-theft nuts as I find it is more convenient to just use my hands to tighten the caps.

With low cost of ownership, if got itchy hands want to steal the caps, I'll just let it be tongue.gif

I've insured RM2k for the pass 2 insurance policies but never claim windscreen replacement so far.
If want to include better tint for windscreen, maybe can increase the coverage to RM2.5k to 3k

Where to change windscreen if really want to claim windscreen insurance?
Let say if you went back to mazda SC, will they tint for you? most likely give you skytint.
For me, I will go back mazda SC to replace, so I wont include tint for windscreen.
*
If go back to Mazda SC for replacement, I believed Rm2k should be good.

But there are members who changed their ws outside of SC and this shop will arrange everything from insurance claim to tinting, within the coverage amount.
Some said RM1.6k is enough for third-party windscreen and the shop will use the few hundreds RM extra to include tinting too.

For me, personally I will change at SC for peace of mind, but then I need to be ready to fork another RM1k or so for good quality front ws tint.

BTW, I can directly renew thru berjaya website without the need to go thru mazda SA right?
*
I was told that while you might save 10% by renewing online or walk-in to any Berjaya Sompo branch, you will lose the 10-year betterment clause.
Bermaz insurance guy and my SA told me that the betterment clause is valid only if you renew via Bermaz or dealer

Not true. As an insurance agent for Sompo, you can go through agents for the betterment clause for additional premium. But no point paying extra for this clause now when your car is still new.

Btw, for WS with tinting SA told me RM3k. That’s what I insured when I first bought the car.
*
I see.
That’s what Bermaz insurance guy and the SA told me. Guess they want to earn their commissions too. They told me I have to continue with the Berjaya-Sompo insurance from them to enjoy the benefit.

As for your insured WS, did your SA mention if you can select your tint or they will use back Konica Skytint?

How was these focal speakers? Did they impressed you over the stock and do you feel worth it?

Did not get the chance to demo the speakers as they are more like wholesaler / cash & carry and they have partner shops where buyers can do the installation.

My daily work drive is on DUKE and NKVE, cannot really speed on KV highways bro tongue.gif
The most is 120km/h with RPM around 2k.
Still OK lah as averaging 700km for full tank

Actually I till now still dont understand the details of our warranty.

5 years 100k km is for what purpose?  hmm.gif
*
I believed the warranty is for factory defect to major parts like engine, gearbox, electrical/ECU etc.
Only consumable and wear & tear parts like battery, brake pad, disc, suspension, etc have shorter warranty period, which is normal for other car makers too.
Have to read the manual and service book to know more on the warranty

During my 40k major servicing, the SC also checked the thickness of the brakepads.
After 40k of driving, all brakepads still have about 8mm thickness or so, with minimum thickness is 2mm.

I've decided to KIV the speaker upgrades first as yesterday I went to Jack's place to do body soundproofing for the roof, 4 doors and bonnet.
When driving back, the missus noticed that the sound from the stock speakers improved a lot, as the soundstaging is much better with the sound now seems to be coming from the center of the front windscreen, clearer stereo separation and the bass has more solid thump. All this is without playing with the bass and treble adjustment.
The only complaint is that the high is not as crisp to my liking and had to increase 2 notch on the treble equaliser.
