Wait for the TAU and screen to be available then when you change it will be the latest version.

If not mistaken EU and CHina market are using cx-30 infotainment version.

On non GL/mid specs version. You will loose a lot of access to vehicle settings. Like those crash avoidance, auto lighting and etc.
US and Aus market too.. Malaysia just helping to clear left over stock at cheaper price .

thanks for your reply. as i understand this DRL wiring is connected to the headlamp and turn signal indicator, im guessing because they are linked like that, any issues with the headlamp and turn signal, the warranty would be void as well?

noted, would i be right in saying that when i bring in for service i can leave it as it is, but if i notice an issue with the headlamp then i revert it and claim?

what about if the SC notices there's an issue with my headlamp before I do, and noted in their records that I have this DRL modification? would they still void my warranty even if i go away and revert it and come back? thanks

Hello guys, anyone having problem with driver and passenger side windows having squeaky “Eee Eek” noises whenever going through uneven roads? The noises also can be produced by pressing on the windows.

So far can confirm the sounds comes from the windows seal rubber, already claimed warranty twice for this issue but still the problem persists, anyone here having the same issue and have any idea how to solve the problem? Thanks 🙏🏻

Back in 2018 during the tax holiday.. my friend manage to get RM2.5k discount from SA ( out of SA pocket) + some gift and petrol.

Me at different showroom gets nothing.. no gift nor discount. But my SA didn't charge me for buying number plate. So my saving is only RM250. Should had pick SMS or 1Malaysia.. I'm bad in negotiatie

Mine is 2019 silver model and my friend got his in July which is a 2018 DCB

hmm was it near year end? technically speaking, Oct isnt near year end yet but i dont wanna wait till year end only place order let alone collect car even later 

2019 model all has power boot except base model the 2.0GL..

So far issues with my car:
1. Significant scratches on instrument cluster cover - My claim was rejected by Mazda, SA replaced it for me - Fixed
2. Air conditioner on front passenger side blow hot air when set to 25c, referred to Mazda Japan then SC changed the air conditioner controller, still the same. Compared with new car, is the same then SC concluded that it is normal - Fixed
3. Car jerking when slowly drive through a bump at 10~20kmph. SC relearn the auto transmission, so far there is no issue until today - Fixed
4. Clunking noise at the front, both front bush has been replaced - Fixed
5. Rattling noise:
- Front dashboard (fixed but still there is minor noise)
- Instrument cluster cover (I think because they replaced it before this it was fixed recently)
- Driver side (ongoing but I might found the root cause)
- Left rear passenger side (ongoing can't find the root cause yet)
6. Left front damper knocking noise, to change with a new damper - In progress

About some of the abnormal noise, complained to SC and then they said it was fixed but actually not, so have to visit them frequently to investigate and remediate

sure ah ? CX5 no discount this year end? if no discount, i have to reconsider again
