Bought this from lazada as replacement because the tip of previous gauge made of plastic broke, lousy. New one more solid with meter and pressure release valve. The rubber wheel around the meter feels nice to hold. Lazada offers electronic & mechanical type meters, so plenty of choices and price range to select. [attachmentid=10908092]
Wow. If it me, i just pump back the tyres like once every 2 weeks and check if any of my tyre drop of pressure. If it does, 100% due to nail in my case. But with other car that cw pressure monitoring, it does help a lot, i dont need to repump back as it show still in good pressure for all my tyres

My car is using the T110 EFB battery & it already passed 21 months of usage. Typical price of this battery is between RM580 to RM650.
Now I'm charging it on weekly basis. Last time check battery condition in May 2021, condition was still good.
For me if the battery can be extended to more than 2 years, it is already good enough for me as typical service life of the battery is about 18 months. ROI already covered right there.
I use the battery charger as last time had many shopee coins. So my car's battery already 2 years old, warranty last time was 18 months. Went to charging once a month and 2 months ago went for regular service outside, the foreman inform the battery was still in good shape
Honda is using Mitsuba wiper which is very good in quality and the refill replacement price is reasonable at SC. In contrast Mazda has very poor quality wiper, just get PIAA Si-Tech as replacement.
tbh, a shopee silicone wiper which cost about rm50-80 works good already vs rubber wiper. The PIAA starting price at rm200?
Did you retrofit the tpms in your car? Plug & play outside or need to send in SC to maintain the warranty?
My buddies install tpms modules at his Sorento 2012. Iinm it connected wirelessly from the sensor at tyre to the modules. So the modules will shown the exact tyre pressure.
Wow. So they’re charging us for the 8” screen, scuff plates and tint? Its RM3,200 in total. Anyone else was forced to pay for this?
My SA said he can give 3k discount but then I see I have to pay 3.2k on these accessories. Btw, he is also promoting to take a separate tinting and coating package. He said they will tear off Mazda’s tint. What’s the point?
Additional car mat which old types version of carpet. Not similar to current like Trapo types. The tint they give is questionable as 55% IRR windscreen while rest is 95% IRR. My family had to top up for a better tint outside especially the windscreen.
U can ask your sa, i bet he cant deduct it even u dont want the accessories
True. He is trying to promote a tinting package (probably from one of his panel which will give him some commission) and said that they will tear off the skytint and apply their tint. Ridiculous. Basically asking me to pay RM1,900 for nothing.
I just double tint the rest and only tear off and install new tint for windscreen. Kinda waste to tear off all tint as we paid for it via compulsory
The tint is the lowest value for money of the optional accessories installed. Poor spec and tint color is not nice. So, took SA's offer to top-up a bit and re-tint whole car with better quality before delivery. At least look & feel so much better. I treat the savings from SST exemption to cover, at least not so heart pain
Oh and, I take this opportunity to wish Happy Father's Day to all of you & a shout-out to fathers with CX5 2.2D!
Agreed but it is recommended to do it by own than let SA done it. Sometime we face some dishonest SA as he/she install one with base branded tint model instead of top of the line tint brand.
Just take tint with IRR97-99% IRR to have good heat rejection
yeah. and i know its not a fair comparison as well. just want to know whether others who ever face similar situation, like comparing HRV to cx5 ka. haha. did a few research on this thread and someone did mention hrv due to its huge price gap. (110k ish to 150k almost 40k)
but cc 131k and cx5 154k. just want to know whether the extra 20k is worth it.
The 20k sum up to 5 or 7 years installment, kinda not too much add on per instalments. Well it depends on each financial background. For me the size matters, so I start digging from there.
Likely have to pay more, maybe a lot more! Doesn't help with the shrinking rm vs usd. The sst free period helped for now, but take it away, prices actually have been creeping up, even ckd. I am prepared to maintain & keep my ride
it will affect our market sales if they increase the price in future. case example, M6 2.5L when new >rm200k. wait for 2 years old used car market, the price drop too much and affordable due to no demand for the car. so my idea, grab it 2nd car much better

Did you guys service the aircon around 3 years time? I just went to SC today and they advice to service aircon.
Also my rear brake pad is a bit thin, SC suggest to change in next service. It'll cost 400+...is it cheaper to change outside?
QUOTE(ycsiong @ Jul 27 2021, 09:20 AM)
I also want to know
for most car, the brake pad is under wear & tear and no warranty provided even done it at SC. On Accord, the aftermarket Pad is cost RM180 per pair front, RM160 pair rear. It work great vs ori Honda as the original parts for Honda brake pad is poor, will getting brake juddering after few km with ori, rm700 pair at SC
AC service on most cars is optional and not mandatory for warranty. I prefer it to be done outside around rm150-200 per service.

Anyone here changed the speakers of your car? Any issues with warranty?
My SA is advising me to not touch the sound system because the cutting of any wire will void the warranty. I'd love to upgrade the audio but I'm a bit worried about that...
Iinm from fb, can resolve by adding dsp to the hu. At least improvement is there after install that
I done adding DSP, replace front tweeter and speaker and add a sub at the spare tyre area.
If you ask me , unless you are streaming music from tidal/spotify premium or using a DAP as a source to play yr music, its worth it. Else listening to radio will be a waste .....lol
