It’s $3500 rebate on last year. The agent already pocket your $1300. Mazda agent sneaky.
*
Year end rebates? And I already asked more than 7 sc, that the highest offered, 2.2k + sst rebates. Average others give me rm500-1k rebates.

Yes. Correct. $3500 had been offered. They cheated you $1300.
*
they had this offer back then if book b4 that your said program. foc 1st year insurance subsidy by bermaz at rm3.6k. So I take this combo with SA rm2.2k rebates. the SA rebates is what differ from each SC back then, some give 500 to 1000.

in my case, 10% deposit - rm3.6k (by Bermaz) - rm2.2k by SA. As mine is 55% NCD, I paid 2.3k for insurance.

another offer by Bermaz is 6 years warranty + 6 years free services. If opting for this, they remove the 1st year Insurance at 3.6k.

not sure if this subsidy is still available now.
*

Is it ok to lapse the service due date? Say by 1-2 weeks? My mileage is currently 6000km below the suggested mileage.
*
if no reason, just follow as per schedules/ mileage. for sake of warranty.

apparently my case also the same.
when rpm dropped to below 750 then starting to vibrate.

need to set appointment with mazda during weekday..
as some other sound issues.. they dont entertain on weekend
*
Known issue to Accord last gen as well. Idling rpm quite low. Effect to vibration. Maybe emissions rules make all manufacturers doing this?

You won’t regret take turbo. Just always on time maintenance. This is the higher class CX-5 with more gadget other don’t have and the most fastest. 👍
*
Saw youtube, cx5 turbo fc average around 6.7-8km/l? Is that the real usage on daily drive? No doubt for its power

Haha that's good to hear.

Yea, the CX5 is holding up well. I've pretty much given up cleaning the coil mats on my own though. sweat.gif The bonnet area has several paint chips despite her not being a aggressive driver... I've heard a lot of feedback that the current Mazda paint is quite thin too...  hmm.gif

Anyhow, I've already sold off my Myvi and gotten the Ativa instead - and sent it for coating. So this is my 1st time owning a coated ride - so it's pretty much an 'experiment' now for the next 2-3 years to see how the coat holds up.
*
If u r looking to cover from rock chips, ppf is the only way. Coating wont protect it from chips

More important question is that do you have any preferred area to buy from?
Becoz some people willing to forgo the RM2k or RM3k rebate because it is not near where they are staying... LoL!
*
The rebates mostly came from kl branch. So if stay kl/selangor can take it, use rebates for retint the poor skytint especially the Front windscreen and balance top up for coating/ppf

Hi. What shampoo and sponges do you all recommend for general washing? I have 3M coating.
*
The coating shop that i went (Alva coating) suggest the Getsun car shampoo cz ph neutral. Tried it, the bubbles was plenty and very cheap. Tried also Meguiars car shampoo, almost similar but slightly more bubbles and smell much better. But pricey

Ideally PH neutral shampoo will do as suggested by bro ayamxxx.

I bought Carpro Reset to try as this is my first time having a coated ride and asides from the scent - it works really well and quite sudsy. Pity about the pricing though tongue.gif

Anyhow, again depends on your budget.

I also have been using Osren's Bubble Wash, Nano Wash as well as Tupps wash and they all work well.
*
How much u spend for the coating? I just went to coating shop that recommended by friends and having a good Google review (not sure if can trust this?) Their top package is at rm1k which covered all the car parts.

I know some shop advertised offer package of 70% promo discount etc, but when u went there, the package doesn't include interior, or using basic coating for example.

2nd reason dont wanna spend fortune for coating is I want to allocated some for front PPF and might repaint the car when it enter 5 years life. From my experience, most car nowadays had thin paint vs continental car, in my car for Honda. Is it due to cost cutting or using environmental friendly paint materials?

i already used to light foot on brake pedal(for brake hold) without disabling istop
this could be a trick for you if you can get used to it
*
some mazda 3 owner just put ac at 18C or lowest setting to disable by design the istop

There is an OBD dongle to disable Mazda's i-Stop selling at Shoppe for around Rm60.
Just plug the dongle into the car OBD port and everytime start the car, the i-Stop is automatically disable.

I've never tried it as already become a habit to switch off the i-Stop and enable Auto Hold everytime I start the car
*
on Accord, there are the OBD port items that enable auto-lock/unlock and auto side mirror fold. but after some time, there will some weird light trigger on the meter. so after throw that, no more light comes out
