What a cute grin.He was either thinking of winning since MAN U were playing fringe players or he just might admire Rooney

Cant wait to see Totti back on form though
I want to see a Vucigol and Il Capitano strike partnership
Just dont miss the sitters Vucigol

I read a few days ago that Ronaldo might leave Milan
Sounds like a good time to get him

And isnt Torrino the team where Rosina is playing
I heard Spalleti might get him to replace our Amantino
Speaking of which , why havent we seen Rosi play
My brother said he is good but so far why no appearance's

Just to remind you MANU fans
Fergie once thought of getting Totti a long time ago

(the old) Ronaldo ? no thx really. his wages would be sky high, not to mention he need 'forever' to get fit to play. did he actually lost a leg n the AC medical staff hide the news ? biggrin.gif

yup Rosina is playing for Torino now. I wouldn't really take him as the replacement of Mancini (if he does indeed going out), coz for me Rosina is more of a center playmaker.

as for Rosi, he's currently on loan to Chievo. lets hope he'll gain some experience n come back as a whole lot better player. smile.gif

speaking of Mancini's replacement, we're linked with this guy : Yuri Zhirkov.

looks not bad, but again, who doesn't on youtube ? biggrin.gif

ya i'm a regular reader of the offside blog, n no, i'm not that 'Chris'. biggrin.gif

well the idea of having Antonio back is very appealing indeed... but i seriously doubt the Sensi family will be ok wif it.

but seriously it would be awesome. Totti + Cassano + Mancini = absolute magic. drool.gif

Oh come on ,

Why are Roman's like that sometimes

But what did he do so bad though

I mean , you cant do something so bad till everyone in Rome hates you right

looking at his videos

He has Charisma

and to be fair

Cantona was like him too

He kung fu kicked a guy

That is worse

Totti skips Torino trip doh.gif
Saturday 15 December, 2007

Francesco Totti will not be making the trip to Torino for Sunday's game, as the Roma man explains his injury is still causing problems.

"It's a shame I won't be there and I do miss playing, as I have been out for almost two months," said the captain.

He has been struggling with a bruised foot and ankle since the Champions League win over Sporting Lisbon on October 23.

Totti made his comeback earlier this month, but is forced to sit out the Serie A visit to Torino this weekend.

"I am still looking for my best form, but there are problems in my foot and it will take a few days to recover."

This means Mirko Vucinic is set to start upfront for the Giallorossi along with Amantino Mancini, Rodrigo Taddei and Ludovic Giuly.

Simone Perrotta and Marco Cassetti are back in the squad, but it remains to be seen whether they are fit enough to start.

Roma squad: Antunes, Barusso, Julio Cesar, Brighi, Cassetti, Cicinho, De Rossi, Esposito, Ferrari, Giuly, Juan, Mancini, Doni, Mexes, Panucci, Perrotta, Pit, Pizarro, Tonetto, Vucinic

Spalletti has Scudetto faith
Sunday 16 December, 2007

If Roma fail to win at Torino this afternoon they can wave goodbye to the Scudetto, but Luciano Spalletti is keeping the faith despite Francesco Totti's absence.

"I am very irritated by his latest injury, although in motivating him to recover faster perhaps I too contributed to the fact he hasn't yet overcome this pain," said the Coach.

"Roma need his contribution, but unfortunately we must accept he won't be there. There is nothing to say he'll be out until the New Year, as there are another two games before then and I remain optimistic."

Totti has barely featured since bruising his right foot and ankle in the 2-1 Champions League win over Sporting Lisbon on October 23.

The Giallorossi must do without their talismanic captain for today's trip to Torino, which will be live on Five with coverage starting from 13.30.

"I know Walter Novellino well. Toro were expecting to have more points by this stage of the campaign and I am aware they like to take on opponents in duels all over the pitch. It is a tough game, we always manage to motivate teams to step up a gear."

It is against the smaller clubs that Roma have stuttered this season, falling five points adrift of leaders Inter.

"We have a little less than Inter in terms of maturity, as they are more consistent and make the most of every situation to take home maximum points, but they too have problems, as this is a very balanced championship," insisted Spalletti.

"I still believe we can overtake them. If we didn't believe, then we would stay at home. We will keep having motivation on Monday, regardless of this weekend's results. It is clear we need to win in order to keep up with Inter and hope they lose some ground."

Rodrigo Taddei is suspended, but Simone Perrotta returns to the squad after an injury lay-off. Mirko Vucinic steps in to replace Totti, while Alberto Aquilani and Marco Andreolli are also sidelined.

lineup :
Doni, Panucci, Mexes, Juan, Tonetto, Pizarro, DDR, Brighi, Giuly, Mancini, Vucinic.

so what we are playing so-so... defensive wise we are good, but we're struggling to break down the tight line of Torino.
