Hey people. Can someone recommend me a good headphone with my budget around RM100, connecting it to my guitar multi effector.

1 What brand and what model? Exact price?
2 Why did you recommend it?
3 Where can I get it?

Thanks very much in advance. smile.gif

I'm looking for new earphones to be used with my ipod. I prefer the straight type jack connector.

My budget is not more than 150. The sound must be clear, high bass and treble.

If u have any suggestion, don't forget to state where to get the earphones.

One more thing, anybody knows what's the price of an original ipod earphones?

Thank you.

Hi guys!

I seem to hear mixed replies about Creative Aurvana. I personally have them, and I think their excellent. Though tweaking the bass settings was kinda difficult with low quality audio.

On VBR's though, they seem to sound great.

Hope to hear your opinions soon.

hip>> what type of headphones u want? Over ear, in ear, neckband, over head?

I prefer in ear... I do need noise cancelation. But the price must fix with my budget.

Hey, i've tried Aurvana before this. But sorry to say, i found that there's nothing special on this earphone.

yeah, I own a creative aurvana and mylarone.

For the Built quality and packing, aurvana win nicely - I like the box for earphone very much, the wired is thicker and seems promising.
For the sound quality, creative aurvana is slightly better (still burning in - 1 week old), more detail and mylarone is abit bright when tested side by side.
For the comfort, i think mylarone is better.

But at the end, It still come to the price/performance. the market price of creative aurvana is around RM 350++ which i dont think it worth so much. Personally, I get mine at SGD 99(promototion price) - RM 220+- and i think its the fair price for its performance, built quality and packing. Anyway, hope to try the mylarthree.

First of all, in defence of Aurvana, did you even put in the rite size for your ears.

If not, It'll a) pop out, b) imcomplete isolation

I'll be the first to admit that Aurvana is expensive, but I've moved from many brands over the years, this is quite good, and I'm a sucker for things extremely light, black and low profile, which is exactly Aurvana. You might argue that Shure E2c is the best, and I agree. But who wanna spend RM2k on headphones?

My Vision:M at volume 4-6(1 lowest, 25 highest) is perfect for office or lvl 8 for noisy enviroments.

The only weakness I find is the bass. It seems a bit fiddly, which most of the time I found it to be the quality of the MP3 itself. After much tweaking, I managed to calm the bass somewhat. I listen tunes from classical to rav, and it's good across the board.

For comparision sake, I took iPOd and Vision M stock headphones and listened to it in noisy places. I had to use volume 12 - 14 on both. So dun come BS me about how the stock iPod phones can beat Aurvana.

Lolx. Emo post.

Shure e2c is about the price of your Aurvana. And even the highest E500PTH I can get it much below 2k.

I cant imagine anyone claiming the E2c to be the best sweat.gif
And the E2c is priced around RM300++, nowhere near RM2k if that's what you're trying to imply there

But yeah I'm guessing the Aurvana isn't too bad, no way is it possible that stock iPod buds are better...

Yeah, i agree with that... Maybe it's hard for me to focus on the sound since there's so many people around + too many music surrounding the hall. I've go to creative shop at Low Yat but unfortunately they don't provide samples for testing purposes.

As for Sony, they do have samples for every model of earphones.

I think ipod's earphone quite good but when i turn up the volume higher, the sound goes broken especially when i set the equalizer at high Bass.

PX100 is a little below RM200, somewhere around RM180 i think
But it's portable, not full sized headphones so you might want something else
I suggested that cause you seem to think Sennheiser is the best biggrin.gif
