where to check the temperature reading on ASUSwrt ?

If you're using stock ASUS firmware, you can't
Only with Merlin you can see the temperature

I just changed my LAN cable from BTU/ONU to router (CAT5E to CAT6) but the speedtest drop from the initiall 480mbps to 350mbps, I did change back to the original CAT5E but the speed still not convincing enough

May I know, after i change any LAN cable, any setting shall i update into the router?

RT-AX88U is too big and can't afford to put on my router shelf. I does not need a router with 8 LAN ports because my router was plugged directly to a 16-port gigabit switch.
I will wait for RT-AX86U in the future.

i only received a free Gamers Republic backpack...which is kinda cool but not really useful for the router haha

Hahahaha, I just realize where are my freebies as promised from the seller after using my GT-AC5300 for few days...

Then I pm the seller and ask about it, they give me the link as posted by you, and tell me I just few sec late only, otherwise I would be able to get the freebies...

But I remember I didn't notice there is such T&C posted in their listing nor their store page.

Anyway those freebies wasn't the main reason I bought the router, I just take it as bonus if I did get it. Just that I thought the forwarder forgotten to pack it into my parcel only~

My RT-AC68U I bought for RM200 in Taobao, sold it for RM400
My RT-AC86U I bought for RM400 in Taobao, sold it for RM700

I want RT-AX88U for several reasons

1. I don't need tri band on the GT-AC5300, dual band is more than enough
2. I need Merlin, I don't like stock ASUS firmware. And Merlin himself said he will never support the GT models
3. The processor used inside the GT-AC5300 is also the same processor used inside the RT-AX88U which is Quad Core 1.8GHz CPU
4. The RT-AX88U also uses 1GB RAM same like the GT-AC5300
5. Yes, I really need the 8 ports
