Hi.. anyone here manage to solve usb 3.0 dongle interrupting wifi connection issue?
After do some research on google, found some solution which is using ferrite chokes and wrap the cable using aluminium foil.
But it seems using ferrite chokes also not solve the problem.
Aluminium foil works great but looks ugly on my dongle

Should buy base model without touch bar or model with touch bar estimate to last longer around 5 years

Your requirement for usage?
if without touch bar, might as well get mb air

near to similar spec
newer processor (8th gen vs 7th gen)
lower clock speed but same boost clock
both 2 thunderbolt type c

for mbp 13 touchbar, u gain
+2 thunderbolt type c
+newer gen processor
+ touch bar
+ touch id

This is literally a ticking time bomb for all macbook pro users.

No la. It is MBP-> eGPU -> monitor.

MBP -> eGPU = USB-c

eGPU -> monitor = depending on what output port the eGPU supported such as thunderbolt 3 (USB-c), hdmi, DisplayPort etc.

USB-c support daisy chain so confirmed can work.

but as for the Razor Core X (the easy most to get here - can buy from All IT).
i saw aikito node pro has a display port 1.2 on enclosure.
razer core x only has 1 usb c/thunderbolt 3 port.

do i cucuk at the gpu display ports?

how much is Razor Core X? by the way, i saw that it support nvidia card but how come u say amd? whereto check the support?

u can check all around , even apple site suggest to use amd radeon : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208544
some tweaking needed to use nvidia ones.

It affect MBP with mostly touch-bar version affected more likely, as it have shorter ribbon connector than required.
If u're buying used MPB, becareful and remember to check this issue before purchase.

damnit and i thought i was the only one with this issue, i was wondering if my connection was the problem or my macbook was the issue. how is yours now? i tried to use 5ghz network but it's still spotty at best

Just experience wifi lost connection when plug usb c hard disk (no dongle-direct connection) to perform time backup. My wifi back to normal after finish backup. Look like this is not related to only using dongle.

Too many issues with the current gen ya. Guess ill hold my purchase and live with my trusted 2011 mbp. 9 years already and still strong.
