Hi guys, new 13” quadcore MBP user here😊 Sold off my 2012 15” rMBP for this used one.
Before buying, I braced myself with the fact that the current ones only have USB Cs. I gotta say I’m coping with it.
But the one thing that makes me miss my old machine is actually the Magsafe. Being a clumsy guy and living with a cat, I cant seem to be able to leave the Macbook plugged in without thinking of the worst. Haha.
everyone miss magsafe lol, still kinda hate the fact that they actually removed it. but good thing is you wont have to buy a whole new charger now, just cable will do.

Was looking at the Baseus Magnetic Magsafe Adapter online. Not much reviews found. Anyone here have tried it?

no point to invest on third party product like this. the user experience is not going to be the same.
actually usb-c is not that bad. especially if u have the touch-bar models. touch-bar models have usb-c ports on both sides of the macbook pro. so u can choose a side to plug in the usb-cable for charging purpose that is safe to prevent anyone from tripping over the cords.
after 3 years if keyboard of death struck then how?
buy new Macbook pro?
lol....ROI after 3 years. So that time buy new model liao. Hopefully , apple realise that they should lower down the price. Seem high impact on apple phone sale
new problem, Flexgate, It seems this time more serious than butterfly keyboard, the screen itself cost USD600 to replace instead of replacing the flex cable
