That's the rm10 light from DIY shop or supersave shops.

It's cheap. Highly recommended. Get a old puncture tube, cut them to make small O ring/band, tie one on frame, one on helmet(yes helmet give better angle of view)... Rm20 spend on good rear blinker light.
Problem, 6 month down the road, the battery or usb head rosak and can't charge. But still, it's cheap!

White light blinker in front is wonderful, as it's more annoying and catches driver attention more.

There is always 2 type of front light, blinker to alert other ppl, and light to illuminate, unless your area is filled with street light, a proper illuminated light is good for dark road or kampung road or some lorong lorong tepi longkang.... U dun wanna end up in longkang don't you?

I love my cateye hyper constant. Both blinking and illumination together.

I'm planning to use these cheap blinkers as backup for nite rides and probably substitute my Lezyne with the cheap white led when I do daytime ride to preserve it's battery.

Good idea for the helmet lighting as my previous came-with-helmet rear blinker is already a goner.

So far these two Lezyne lights have been serving me well for a year plus now. Just need these el cheapo as backups for the longer nite haul. thumbsup.gif

I modded my sun storm dual led light to connect to a GoPro and Garmin dual mount so it is positioned in the centerline of the handlebars. The power cable runs into the saddle bag under the saddle.
The rear light is a tiny cheap Moon unit that runs on AAA rechargeables.

1) Used American Classic 420 Aero 3 u will cry when u start hunt for a freehub spare, my opinion stay away from the brand until some company pick them back up

If hubs are koyak or parts unavailable, can we go the option of replacing with hubs of other brand? What about spoke lacing with existing rims? Im thinking since many wheels have custom spokes pattern and count, is this an issue when it comes to just replace hubs?

Yes. That's if you love your rim so much but think of the wear and tear over the years, the rim brake track is mostly wear out too. Unless you are running disc brake, then your rim will be in fairly good condition. So you can swap out the hub.

Unless it has crazy spoke count, it should be pretty easy to rebuild. On one note though, those rim rely on very little or fancy spoke count, are very difficult or can't be "true" to 99%. They rely on the rim itself to be "true" so if the rim are bend from crashes, it's kinda useless after that point.

I'm just planning ahead, kinda pointless to fork out more money for repair than buying a new wheels. I had mine custom build with dtswiss hub 240 db, Sapim cxray (most affordable spoke), custom assymetry rim.
