QUOTE(takadanicklagi @ Jul 12 2018, 06:47 AM) Not too sure about that. My relatives is in milk powder industries. Usually after certain years they need to cull the cow as the milk production begin to reduce. problem is, if its really viable. we would have a full bloom industries already and we will have cheap milk already But here she says the farmer have names for their cows and grown emotionally attached to it. Believe it or not...That's what she said. QUOTE(KorkorBesar @ Jul 12 2018, 06:54 AM) saudi tu saudi, not tropical like malaysia |

QUOTE(jfleong @ Jul 11 2018, 02:49 PM) Real butter, not margarine or luxury spread or fat spread or buttery Look at how sneaky they are. I don't think many Malaysians realise this but the "butter" you buy is not actually butter. They don't even describe it as butter and use terms like "lemak sapuan campus sebatian" or something like that. When you look at the ingredients list, the first item is actually palm oil. Many don't show the percentages, one that did says that only 10% is "milk fat" i.e. real butter The ones that actually describe it as butter and have the ingredient list butter (and maybe salt) but nothing else, is like 12.50 a block of 250g Why so expensive ? ![]() |

I think Westgold, Western Star, Golden Churn, Lurpak and SCS brands are natural butter and not like the local buttercup which is just called "butter".

I thought all are creamer nowHave no luck spotting other brands even at upscale groceries Even the evaporated “milk” is mostly synthetic except ideal which still use mostly milk I have seen imported condensed milk in Jaya Grocer, cost rm15/can & they keep in the baking products area |

Read the description & ingredientsReal butter will be labelled as such & ingredients is majority milk based Non dairy “butter” will be labelled as Fat or Vegetable Spread & the majority of ingredients is palm oil based Same for condensed milk & evaporated milk Condensed/evaporated milk = majority milk product ingredient Sweetend creamer / evaporated creamer = majority palm oil product |

Because Dapiggy Lim Kit Eng stopped the goddess Sharizat's Super duper project making quality and cheap local milk by building condo for cows la. That's why Malaysia can only import milk from New Zealand, making dairy products expensive.
We should bring back cow condo project |
