Any advice on Samsung TU8000/8500? I saw the TU8000 50'' can get under RM2k from places like Courts Mammoth.

During initial setup, mistakenly skip few step and now could not use Chromecast connecting to android phone. Model LE50K6600UG.
If anyone using Haier TV, mind to share whether doing a reset will completely wipe out all the system apps including the android tv? Once reset will the android tv restore automatically?

using TU7000 43" (maxis bundle), the Tizen OS much inferior to Android TV OS and basic TV control not user friendly at all.

This SONY 55” is around 2300..

No Dolby Vision though. I’m also getting a 4K SONY Blu-Ray player so thought it might be compatible?

Obviously not , because they are new accounts created by the scammers after their last scheme has succeeded [ and gotten reported ] .

It is almost always the same few tactics .

First they put up an item with an illogically low pricetag , with a random picture that convince you they got the said item .

You message them for the said product , they will ask you to whatsapp / wechat / facebook them and want you to " BANK IN " to their personal bank account with excuses like their grandpa couldn't breath , their toilet bowl has malfunction , all sort of innovative reason . After you did , they will block you on social media instantly .

Or , there is the second type of scam .

Instead of asking you to bank-in , they threaten you to click " product received " before they will ever send you the product . And if you do before receiving the product , it is too late .
The button is there for online platform to ensure you , as a customer to receive what you have purchased .

If you are met with such situation , do not fear . Just screenshot the chatlog , send it to shopee customer service and get the merchant banned .
Or just cancel the order and you will be refunded so these morons wouldn't get a single cent .

Legit one is Tu8000 50" by courts, RM 400 off around 1.7k. I am struggling to decide should I get:

1. TU8000 - RM 1.7k
2. AU7000 - RM 2.0k
3. TCL C716 - RM 2.4k

Yes, they put their whatsapp no. which is weird bcoz shopee/lazada sellers usually dont deal outside the online platform. Definitely a scam

how is this monitor? does it provide judder free 24fps and 60fps?

i wanna watch movie in 24fps but most of the TVs (bought for my parents and sister and in laws) can't adjust to movie 24fps. I dont like watching movies in 60fps, it takes the cinematic feel out of it

The Sony X80H is not a monitor. It's a TV.

The smoothening that you are talking about can be turned off.

The only real 50/60fps content you can watch are off-the-air channels, YouTube videos and video games.

Movies mastered on 24 fps are shown on 60Hz/120Hz TVs by showing the frame longer than a second. For 120Hz TVs, this is five times longer.
