hi, can recommend 55" TV around 2.5k budget? Prefer user friendly and can support wide range of audio, video codecs. So far only saw Samsung AU7000, not check other brands yet.

Xiaomi Mi TV 55" or Prism+ Q55 QE. Both honestly are just similar, altho you can seem to get the Mi TV for much cheaper these days for around RM1.8K if you look hard enough, while the Prism+ is around RM2.2K. Both runs on Android TV, has HDR (not as good as Sony's tho)

IIRC Megra's TV are non HDR. So that might be the reason for it's really cheap price

Oic. Found out Onking offer CNY promotion at RM2,299. Actually this price was original launched price back to 2020. Some sellers sell at RM2,199 that time but now all history.

Anyway I just managed to fixed my Xiaomi mitv4 55 black screen issue after followed YouTube dissembled to fix it.

Will keep looking more in case my TV fail again anytime 😂

I dont think price of any electronic items will be reduced as long as shortage of chips still there. Maybe take one or two years to recover.

Hi all sifus, tumpang thread to ask for brand suggestion & TV size.

I'm currently looking for an Android TV with 4K HD resolution, mainly to watch;
- Netflix
- Apple TV
- 4K movies from pendrive
- Play with Nintendo Switch
- Play with PS5 (maybe, future proofing)

My sofa distance to TV (wall) is around 2.8-3.0m. What TV size & brand would you guys suggest if my budget is around RM3K?

I'm thinking around 55" or 60" (not sure which is better) and top of mind I just thought of Samsung and Sony. Seeing this thread, is Xiaomi a good investment?

Also, do you guys know if there's a way to connect the TV with PC wirelessly? Or can this be done via Chromecast? Totally noob at this - would appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Was thinking about this 2 but the minimum for ps5 requirement I check need to be 120hz for futureproofing will be the
Sony X85J entry level which has VRR downloadable, price at RM3K+.

Any other recommendation from other Sifus?
