I think you have to see the Pengarah to get those untaken tendered numbers.

PNW tender result is out.
PNW816 is not taken yet.
You have to work hard to get your favourite number.

for this case, takes around 2.5 weeks to get the results

Mysikap, you can check live the number availability

If it is open, you can buy,

No refresh period

Each search max 50 continuous number

It will show whatever available from that 50 numbers range

There is no full listing shown

The latest jpj registered number can be check at jpj website
It only show 1 single number that has just registered to jpj as being sold/own by someone

Refresh a few mins later will maybe show a newer number

Surely data in mysikap will be updated daily or so like 12 am, 9 am as the numbers are running 🏃.

I believe the numbers will be immediately remove from the pool

dont mistake that mysikap is some sort of listing service

its not, you directly linked to JPJ to buy directly
you pay directly, and the number will be immediately yours

theres no update, as with it will be too late and there will be two person bought the same number

once payment through, the number will not show up in mysikap 50 number range search anymore, with immediate effect

on JPJ will be a state search for the latest number

say search KL VCY 4591 shows up

any number before 4591 is not on MySikap pool any more
and it will not show in search or availability

to buy old numbers bought by other people but not registered to a vehicle
you need to use runner or go straight to arrange meeting with ketua pengarah

I can't tell much on tendering process, but it goes something like this

1. You go to jpj
2. fill in form, pay Rm300 minimum
3. You can pay more to secure, if someone pay RM301, then they win the bid
4. Wait for over a certain time (not short one)
5. When announced, see if you win or not


another way is to go find a runner to search for older prefixes to see if there is leftovers
How does leftover happens?

If you buy a number or bid it @ mayke RM100K
after a certain time, 3 or 6 months,and the number is not registered to a vehicle,
the number is then returned to JPJ ownership, no refunds

if lucky, then might have lor in the old listing

When you say not a short one, usually how long? Meaning I can start source for the car plate now right if I plan to buy a car within 6 months.

Now you have this list, general population can buy the 1st (VCY) or maybe the second one (VDA) if the 1st one is near the end




as for the rest, have to wait lor, but KL one i would say 1 prefix ~ 2-3 weeks maybe

so you now would be bidding for VDH numbers

which seems to be finish by 10 Apr

not sure if after bidding, how long the result to be out
and how long before you can place it on the car

Tender open - 17/1/19
Tender close - 30/1/19
Tender result - 28/2/19
After the tender result, you can pay the balance and register the number on your car.

Someone bidded VDB178 for RM303.
VDA, VDC, VDD and VDE nobody bid for number 178.
If you engage a runner to do the bidding for you, his/her service fee is about RM150.

If you have the time to go to JPJ, then do it yourself.
If don't want to waste time going to JPJ, then engage a runner.

There is no online tender.
You have to fill up a form, buy a bank draft/postal order/etc, photocopy Mykad and Driving Licence.
Drop the tender documents into the tender box.
Wait for the tender result.

Yes. You can still buy VCH numbers or any other numbers from syndicates.
Quite expensive.
