when you buy through mysikap
I believe the numbers will be immediately remove from the pool

dont mistake that mysikap is some sort of listing service

its not, you directly linked to JPJ to buy directly
you pay directly, and the number will be immediately yours

theres no update, as with it will be too late and there will be two person bought the same number

once payment through, the number will not show up in mysikap 50 number range search anymore, with immediate effect

on JPJ will be a state search for the latest number

say search KL VCY 4591 shows up

any number before 4591 is not on MySikap pool any more
and it will not show in search or availability

to buy old numbers bought by other people but not registered to a vehicle
you need to use runner or go straight to arrange meeting with ketua pengarah

Now All generally available numbers will be fixed price

RM 200+ 10(admin fee)
but seeing how your target is 3 numbers, and how it has 1 and 8 s

most prolly this number will be with held for each new prefix (alphabet)
pending tender process

I can't tell much on tendering process, but it goes something like this

1. You go to jpj
2. fill in form, pay Rm300 minimum
3. You can pay more to secure, if someone pay RM301, then they win the bid
4. Wait for over a certain time (not short one)
5. When announced, see if you win or not
another way is to go find a runner to search for older prefixes to see if there is leftovers
How does leftover happens?

If you buy a number or bid it @ mayke RM100K
after a certain time, 3 or 6 months,and the number is not registered to a vehicle,
the number is then returned to JPJ ownership, no refunds

if lucky, then might have lor in the old listing

Someone bidded VDB178 for RM303.
VDA, VDC, VDD and VDE nobody bid for number 178.
If you engage a runner to do the bidding for you, his/her service fee is about RM150.

Jpj ebid is not for selling numbers directly

It is a tender / e-bidding of upcoming numbers

When a state series is open, it will be on that site. Otherwise, it will be empty

When an upcoming series is out, you can bid your price on it
Other can overbid yours, and up to you how much you think the number is worth

After the bidding ends then it is closed and calculate the winner
And will be announced who wins what numbers

The whole process it seems nowadays, takes up aroun 2-3 weeks after a new series is open
