Will my car dealer should give me the options on availabile numbers and help me choose the one I like as they can to check online?
As anyways he need to provide me the number plate as part of new car registration process?

I bought one car before only
What I can say is from that experience

but car dealer will have runner to do the stuff

if they dun have mysikap
they will ask you provide a few numbers


if you select special looking numbers
be prepare to give more alternatives if youre cheapskate
or ready to pay high money to secure the number you liked

For like honda, you can see the breakdown cost
RM300 if registration with JPJ (not number registration, but car registration)

RM 50, number plate if for runner fee
to get the running number (means they get whatever number JPJ is giving out that moment)

if you want to choose,
you have to pay
yourself = min RM210 (for current available) or more for special number/tender
through dealer = Prices above+ runner fee

By the looks of yesterday to today,

most prolly is after CNY

Finally i bouvht my own plate number thru mysikap, and agent runner can register it without issue.. This post helped me quite a bit.. Thx bro

DDK is now 97xx and I'm checking on the jpj website every minute to see when DDL is going to open. Hope no one took my number already. Tender results for DDL also not out yet. Dunno why so late to announce.

Today, i noticed that Pahang's car no, CEC is open for purchase at mysikap

Both jpj site and mysikap cannot show tapau number yet

I guess have to wait, or go to jpj counter to enquire

Hi, I would like to ask a question.

I would like to buy a new number plate for Penang plate, PNV.

When i try to select PNV, it say "Siri Tidak Wujud".

The current running number is at PNUXXXX

How do i proceed?

The latest number is still PNU6593. Have to wait a bit until the number close to run out then only the next siri will be available. Keep regular checking.
