Jpj ebid is not for selling numbers directly

It is a tender / e-bidding of upcoming numbers

When a state series is open, it will be on that site. Otherwise, it will be empty

When an upcoming series is out, you can bid your price on it
Other can overbid yours, and up to you how much you think the number is worth

After the bidding ends then it is closed and calculate the winner
And will be announced who wins what numbers

The whole process it seems nowadays, takes up aroun 2-3 weeks after a new series is open

now numbers 200s so 100 number is no more now

1616 is special number also not available on normal buy

the other 2 numbers are available

so fast fast, especially the 3 digits one

That is mysikap which have the same numbers as jpj counter

The numbers there will NOT have special number listed,
so numbers like 1515 8888 and others (please check my 1st post for Google Doc link) for the numbers listing with price

Numbers that is sold off during the bidding process (sometimes months ahead of general release) will no longer available when the series is open to public on mysikap/jpj counter


Mysikap need go to jpj customer service to register

Do you need to be in certain states to buy the state num?

Like if you buy a Johor no plate, can you still go do the payment and collect it in Selangor or KL?

Mysikap is not a place to check all available number
It limits


1st off you need to press the "papar no. Kenderaan terkini" button
It will open a new page with jpj search

Go select your state, in this case, melaka
Then enter the security code, some times 3 times in a row
If the code is hard to see, refresh

It will either show the latest number sold on jpj or will inform you that the system is down, or not selling any

That number is your cut off point.
If let at it shows 5467, and you want 2775, then sorry, your number is not on system to be selected anymore

Then let say you want 7687, then you can go mysikap to key in the number
If available, it will show you if not, it will inform you that the number tiada dalam sistem or something like that

You can use julat
Where like your number choice above, select a range of 7650 to 7700 (max 50 numbers only) and it will show a range of numbers

If there is still available, the select and proceed to the next pages to pay

Mysikap is not a open page where all numbers are shown
Heck even when you want to see a range of numbers, they maxed out on 50 number only

I am fairly certain, you can buy other state number at your local jpj counter

Check with your local jpj counter

New series up for bidding, open like 5 to 7 days
Ppl bid, closes, the highest bidder get the number,

Mysikap is more like all jpj function in one site
Can check car blacklist, saman
Do ownership change (maybe?)
And mainly buy new numbers

Mysikap used to need go jpj to register your IC to a new profile

Mysikap will always have running numbers of every state open
Except when system down and for putrajaya series

How does the ebid system work?
After i submit my bid for the number, how do i know if there's someone bidding higher than me before the bidding close?
And can i rebid with higher value when someone bids higher than me?

I think that is how bidding work
You don't know others value, until you get result either you the highest =win, or lost = someone higher than you
If you know someone else value than easier to bid since we can step up 1 more higher

I heard some say that there is a ranking of the people bidding on the popular numbers

Not sure it will show the value bidded
