65" S90C so far is first gen panel, no indication of second gen yet

The way to check is searching the below value

ANAPEAK values in the service menu.

If 5XX (512/588) = Gen 2
If 6XX (682) = Gen 1

Just grab a unit S95B 55 in at 4.3K with Lazada bonus ...I have compared with s90c before place order .. it's maybe just a slight brighter panel for s90c .

imo I feel its gonna be hard to get 2nd gen panel in Msia unless your unit is fresh from factory but who knows. Because from what I can see, S90C are ready stocks now and its not that popular unlike LG C3. I would assume the 2nd gen panels only started rolling out recently

Just checked, qn95c 65" 6.3k... s90c 65" 7k

I’m struggling between QN95C and S90C, obviously S90C is better but QD-OLED longevity and burn in are my concerns.

QN95C is also perform better in bright environment, thing I need to consider if I move to new condo where living room is much brighter then current home.

Yes yes qn95c super good deal now 11.11. I'm not in a market to buy a new tv othis year, otherwise i will not hesitate to buy one.

imo if condo, since your living room is connected to balcony, consider getting a TV with very good reflection handling. Otherwise the glare and reflection will be annoying when you watch during day time unless you close the curtain. It's the only thing I dont like about my QN85C. Didn't consider this factor when I was shopping for TV

Depends how near your TV will be to your balcony also

I think QN95C have a better anti reflection coating than S90C. S95C will be same as QN95C

Got it bout 13k++ frm Harvey Norman, new unit. Had to nego abit to get this price, I think normal price is around 16k+

i just ordered from 65 inch s90c from Lazada 2 days ago.
Still haven't received it yet so cannot confirm the panel is 1st or 2nd gen.
Just wondering y this s90c is not popular in Malaysia

Probably no Dolby Vision (Netflix only have Dolby vision) and expensive (economic downturn)

Initially I wanted to get LG C3 65inch, but the price for C3 is about RM 1.5k more expensive.
So I just go with S90C. Hopefully it is a right choice
