This is only for Samsung staff or open to selected corporate clients?
*

This year’s will be a battle between Qd-Oled with MLA.
Who will win ?
All with boosting a brighter and more spectacular highlight.
*
I think the answer is quite simple. Dark scene, WRGB surely dead compared to QD. Now just need to compare brighter scene. I'm actually quite surprised when I see how the brightness test was done. If the white in WRGB is turned off, LG is dead.

Got 30% off voucher playing lucky spin in samsung pay

biggest drawback to Samsung TV is no Dolby Vision support despite the flagship pricetag

and Tizen UX/UI leaves a lot to be desired even compared to LG's webOS
*
Agreed. For me, I really prefer Android/Google TV since I can also use the TV to turn smart switches on or off.

Leader in the world television space and No Dolby Vision. πŸ€”

Huat Ahhh. πŸ˜ƒ 😊 😁
For me TV just to watch movies 🎞
I'm using normal switches which will last for decades to come
*
Normal switches also won't last for decades. This one still okay. The capacitor inside the switch will kaput every 1-2 years. Replace that and it's good to go again.

It seems like Samsung is doing a clearance sale...

RM8699... dont need to be EPP also. Free installation and wall bracket. On their website even mentioned RM1000 TNG redemption. Best deal ever for OLED. RM7699 after redemption is almost 50% off retail liao. If only Samsung had Google TV.

Anyone using 65inch QN95B? Is MY version using VA or ADS panel?

Received and install 65inch QN95B in my parents' house... very bright panel. The highlights are especially popping.

Hi guys, which would you choose:

75" Q80C or 65" QN85B
Assuming I'm watching from 7-10ft range
*
Such a big difference... having bought a QN95B for my parents, I think the most important question is not size but rather brightness. Q80C also have a built-in sub which could mean better/louder audio since most Samsung TV has lousy speakers. After watching my parents TV, my X90J feels meh.

If you are using it to watch Astro, I feels like 65" is borderline fine. Never watch a 75" (or 77") but I would assume if watching lower quality content like 1080P and below will be quite pixelated. I even had to turn on Contrast Enhance (Not sure what is the exact name for this feature) to high just to make my parents karaoke DVD looks less pixelated.

That's a good price where did you get it from?

I'm looking at the 65" QN85B now and wondering whether is it worth to upgrade to OLED LG C2 but I feel the price jump is too high. Perhaps going to QN95B will be sufficient..

Samsung online store with EPP.

I'm seeing RM8339 with EPP, how did you get RM6850 xD
Did you add on additional discount after EPP's prices?
*
No.. you miss the flash sales. It was RM6850 last week flash sales. This week they lowered the QN85B price to RM60xx. Last week QN85B was RM65xx and QN95B was RM6850. Hence it was no brainer to miss the QN95B.

Dengg, but thanks for the info!

Considering 65QN85B for RM4900 vs 65QN95B for RM6850, is it worth the added cost to go for QN95B?
I guess its mainly IPS vs VA.

If I can find a 65S95B for RM7500 i think that would be a straight grab..
*
Yeah... I almost grab the S95B when it went on sale last time but my parents dont want to upgrade. Then their TV went kaput 2 months later and there is no more stock available. Still OLED might not be the best choice for them for watching Astro.

You can get QN85B for 4900? That seems like a good price. Might have taken it as well over QN95B. QN95B have much higher brightness and possibly better contrast due to VA vs ADS screen. I can only see that it is so much brighter and pop versus my X90J even with SDR content. Even my parents are complaining it is so bright. I have lowered the brightness to 20 and yet it still outperform my X90J.

Nearly 60% of Samsung TVs now have Chinese LCD panels

Samsung already spun off lcd manufacturing to TCL and also all their VA patents in 2021(or 2022) iirc.

Hi anyone has this and wonder how is the experience?

Miniled tv. Usually buyer in 70+ inch category choose miniled because they couldn't shelve 20k+ for OLED.

Wonder those with access with Samsung's EPP can get the S95C at what price. Aiming for the best PQ comes with the best wallet pain too. tongue.gif
*
Cant access EPP anymore since Samsung refresh and removed my sister account after she resigned from Grab.

The last time I checked was 13k for 65inch S95C IIRC. Impossible to get S95B dumping price. Back then really worth but too bad I hesitated. I think it was 8999 lastime and there is even a 5% off for first purchase. On top of that, Samsung had this RM1000 TNG offer for QD OLED. Final price is 7.5k or so after deducting everything but I just bought a X90J a year earlier. Tempted my parents to upgrade but they refused. Then their TV died a year later but no more offer liao. In the end, got a QN95B for RM6850 with RM600 TNG offer.

Thanks for the info. S95C quite expensive jugak for EPP. How nice if their TVs also follow their Galaxy range that drop prices after a few months. Too bad about your parent's situation though, just bad timing je, but QN95B at RM6250 not bad jugak.
*
Yes... You need to wait for EOL sale.

Normal EPP at most also 30% off... If EOL sale, then can get 50%.

So if you want S95C then wait for next year.

No. Confirmed is S95C.
*
Honestly, if not S95B or S90C, then what are you waiting for? I believed you knew what the market price is like for 65inch tv. At the price you mention, you cant even buy a miniled tv, let alone an OLED. Personally I dont think you can find 65inch 2023 OLED at the price you just mentioned.

This is the price taken during fair. Further discount to RM7200.

Then I upgraded to S95C with additional RM500.

So did you check your TV how many hours it has run?

It's brand new set, not display set. That's why I wonder is this a bargain or a catch.

The 'New' sticker mean new 2023 model.  biggrin.gif

Personally I think at this price, even if it's a S90C, it's worth it considering LG C2 would have cost over 9k.
