Anyone recently bought s90c 65 inch or 55 inch?
I want to see the panel is first gen or second gen.
Thinking to get it from Lazada, the price is very attractive around 7K for 65”

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Nov 11 2023, 09:53 PM) People in Reddit forum reported they got 2nd generation panel for 55” and 65” S90Chttps://www.reddit.com/r/OLED_Gaming/commen...e_s90c_has_the/ The way to check is searching the below value ANAPEAK values in the service menu. If 5XX (512/588) = Gen 2 If 6XX (682) = Gen 1 |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Nov 12 2023, 11:12 AM) I’m struggling between QN95C and S90C, obviously S90C is better but QD-OLED longevity and burn in are my concerns.QN95C is also perform better in bright environment, thing I need to consider if I move to new condo where living room is much brighter then current home. |

QUOTE(Kahlamx @ Nov 17 2023, 06:40 PM) How's the S90C HDR brightness as compare to the CX besides the bigger size factor? I am currently still on 65 LG CX. So tempted each year to upgrade but yet to find any worthy upgrade except the LG G3 or the Sony A95L but still quite expensive now. I personally compare lg c3 and Samsung s95c side by side, s95c is brighter than c3 quite significantly. |

QUOTE(vapanel @ Dec 17 2023, 01:40 AM) not really. the 85inch qn85c looks great in my living room. you dont have qn85c so you just talking nonsense If you only care about contrast and preferred saturated color, yes, you probably right.x90l does not magically better because its a sony no way x90l better than qn85c no one in their right mind will buy fald without mini led in 2023. are you still in 2021? just look at star field test for x90l. it is messy. x90l can be thrown away in 2023. I compare the X90L and other mini LED TV, I was quite surprise X90L full array direct LED with around 80 zones could display pretty good picture quality, I thought I was watching high end mini LED TV initially It has better shadows details, natural color rendering. actually I was thinking to get one, but in the end, still go for QD-OLED TV. |

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jan 12 2024, 11:52 PM) Why not? Didn't we get QD oled which only uses blue and passed out through a filter as well? The possibilities is there. I think rgb micro led night possess a challenge of getting a uniform brightness. strictly speaking, QD-OLED doesn't have color filter, a filter removes something and let other pass.micro led and oled are pixel level self emitting lights, the challenge of micro led TV is how to move large amount of micro led to a precise locations. this is mass transfer challenges. |

QUOTE(johnsontys @ Feb 18 2024, 11:20 AM) Hello all, 8k is useless for TV size less than 90”Need a little advice from all of you. I intend to buy a 65" TV for my living room. I have somewhat shortlisted to 4 models 1. SONY X95L 2. SONY A95L 3. SAMSUNG S95C 4. SAMSUNG QN800C Malaysia seems not having the QN900 series? Amongst my shortlisted only #4 is 8K and the rest is 4K. Understand that currently not many sources with 8K but given that I am expecting to use this TV for the next 5 years - should I go for 8K or remain with 4K. Any suggestion or should I even consider cheaper alternatives like the TCL 755? Let me know your thoughts unless you are sitting 1.5 meter away from your TV, you cant tell the difference between 4k and 8k |
