Hi all, just bought an used Iriz 1.6 premium from my relative. The car was a 2015 unit, but rarely drove long distance, hence it mileage at 11k km today .

The warranty already void as the previous owner skip last service since she thought have to using mileage in order to send servicing.

So intend to send at my regular workshop for engine oil and cvt oil change.

Question,
1. The shop informed me they do have the cvt oil change service. Do I need to change the filter cvt considering the mileage is still at 11k km?
2. Is it true need to send at proton sc as need to reprogram/reset cvt after the oil change?

I filled up 20 litres petrol for the car, and after driving roughly 75-90km the fuel indicator only dropped 1 bar from full bar. Doesnt seem to make sense.

Is the fuel sensor gone wrong or memang the fuel tank's size is irregular causing this?

If this is an old car I can make a wild guess of dirty throttle body, bad air filter, failing spark plugs, its cable, etc2 ...

Yes our tank shape is not uniform, smaller volume at the bottom resulting the first 3 will drop slower than the last 3.

Just change the CVT oil + Filter and do CVT Adaptation...use PC reset

Proton recommend to service CVT gearbox every 60k or 3 yrs whichever earlier

Not necessary send back Proton SC considering 3rd party workshop can reset it...but not all workshop willing to invest a PC

Yup, not a problem actually...

Touch up paint is good, but I’ll recommend buying direct from the manufacturer instead as their package comes with all 4 bottles instead of the 3 in Aeon..

Here in Puchong, the price at outside workshop is the same as Proton...so I usually send back, even after my car’s warranty...

Yeah i saw shopee also some seller sell with 3 and some with 4 bottle. Luckily didnt buy yet lol.

Anyway, another project of mine is to wash my engine bay myself. Saw 1 vid tutorial on how do so, seems interesting. Anyone wash their engine bay before? Care to give tips?

Very easy to apply as the bottles come with brush, similar to those to paint nails...the trick here is to be patient, put a coat then let it dry then another coat until the scratch is barely visible...

Roughly an hour between coat and about 2 to dry completely?

2 hours? Fair enough. Need to do it on summer. If not later rain pour down i will be crying all night long

Me too! Year 2014 1.6 CVT - I have this problem for some time already, occasionally tho. My battery is still relatively new. when ignition, sometimes the engine hidup, sometimes die off then I need to start again. Not sure what's the problem but so far, there's no big deal so I did not diagnose it.

There are sometimes the car is hesitant to start but it starts in the end, like the battery is low. But the battery is new

Then after start the engine/clutch (dont know) make some weird sound. Is it same scenario?

With limit bootspace in IRIZ, I supposed you left with limited option.
Underseat woofer is good option thou, but it may not hitting the lowest notes...
