Hi everyone. Had my 1.3 most basic spec iriz baby since launch.

1. Want to ask anyone here face weak starting? Like sometime want start but it keeps cranking like want die.
Happens randomly.

2. Any updates on cvt? The jerk and occasional battery light come out when. Shifting to D still happens lol.

3. Do you notice your aircond at full clicks. How often does the compressor turn on off? This can be heard from the click and humming sound if you notice it enough. Mine turns on off every few seconds like 5 seconds on 5 seconds off. Seems so often. I thought compressor suppose to work longer?

I have problem 1 too. I will twist the key and leave it to crank until starts then I will lightly step on the gas to raise the revs because sometimes the car starts and stays around 4xx-5xx rpm.

Finally im not the only person facing problem 1. It's happening more frequently now. Does the "battery low" or "cvt malfunction" symbol appear when it happens?

anyone can confirm the correct model for Denso Iridium TT spark plugs for Proton Iriz 1.6? Getting different answers

Seems like denso punya catalog listed wrong.. its not the same size as the old campro engine..
The plugs are much longer..

The vvt head is basically a cfe head, in a non turbo application..

Hi, I have encountered this quite a bit. When I shift gear after reversing out of my driveway or within the first couple of starting the engine, the engine almost dies and sometimes the battery indicator flashes, what is the cause and how do I prevent any further issues

Hi guys. Its been a long time since i came here.

I have an issie which i hope not serious. I change my car bat just now by myself following the right procedure. Now my dashboard showing eps(electronic power steering) light on.

Anyone encounter such issue before?

Edit: i drove the car just now. The light went off. Before that i felt the steering not responding back. After drove for like 10-20 meters, the light went off. Luckily no major things happen. Dunno what it cost me if i need to repair it

"Battery low" once, "CVT malfunction" few times...

Sounds normal...
Once you disconnect battery, need to ‘recalibrate’ steering by full turn left, full turn right...

I see. When i saw the warning i was like "my pocket gonna have huge hold this month" since i have no warranty anymore

Luckily it was nothing.
Btw i plan to touch up my paint using the small paint kit sell at aeon etc. Need some feedback, is it worth it? Got small scratch that really irritating my eyes

Yea, a simple full turn of the steering wheel for re-calibration then the warning light will be gone.

I still keep the mytouchup pro bought from aeon since I got the car years back and never feel like using it even though the paint chips are getting more and more nowadays 

I dunno wanna buy it or not coz the price kinda expensive for a small package. I afraid if i buy later the color not match or the quality not up to my standard.

Cold start? or rpm too low?

Or maybe that brake switch issue.
