I don't know if there is any branch that offer 1.3 test drive unit. From my observation Iriz usually gets 10-13km/l in city and around 14-18km/l on highway on average, I heard the Jazz hybrid can reach up to 20km/l.

Guys, whenever I make a u-turn while holding my steering wheel especially to the right side, got gruk gruk sound from the front wheel area. I informed the SC about it and they applied lubricant to the front suspension part (am not sure which part cause I observed from afar). The sound still exist albeit a little less loud than last time. From online research, there could be 3 problems :

                                                  1.the cv joint worn out
                                                  2. Pebble stuck in between brake
                                                      pad and rotor
                                                  3. Faulty wheel bearings

The sound only appeared when I make a tight turn while pressing on the accelerator. I'm driving a 2015 Iriz cvt executive with 82K mileage still running on stock suspension and brake pads except for newly replaced rear wheel bearings.

I strongly believe the possible culprits would be no 1 and 3 judging from my car mileage and usage (am doing Grab part time). What do you guys think?

Only happen recently or from 1st day of buy? iinm some component sometimes might need a little more juice so they will take a bit of juice supplied to the headlamp and supply to the more needing component. Or could be signs of weak battery.

Yeah the air cond compressor  is loud af. My old Savvy also not that loud but still offers around same cooling power.

I was told by my mechanic that mine is rusting also. Friend of mine recommended me to change to aluminum one.
But normally people will just add tap water when the level drops.

yeah depending on the deposits and rust formed it should be okay as long as it is flushed periodically.
probably there are some leaks on your radiator. Check whether its really unfixable by your mechanic. You could bring your car to radiator specialist cause sometimes they could fix the leaks that most workshops couldn't.

Actually is the meter accurate? Jam free city driving I get around 16km / l for the new iriz but not sure how accurate the meter is.

Also any recommended speed to go on highway? 110 is okay?

Hi guy..need verification ..as im barely drive my car on night also daytime, it is the low-beam light is kaput ady? Only figure this out last night when driving..cant see properly with low beam

When set to 1st light..only drl is dim..no light on inside / outside light

Bad stuff:
1) Those shitty tyres from the factory has got to go! Can't believe how many time VSC has kicked in when I'm taking an exit from the highway
2) The head-unit is quite buggy. Sound turns on when you reverse, it doesn't remember settings when you turn off the car. Can be rectified with an update from Proton, I think. 
3) Not a fan of the reverse camera, the lines are a bit misleading to me.

Just put on 195/55/15 Michelin PS3. They're the same price as 185/55/15 XM2+ anyway.

I went to change the tyres immediately after collecting my Iriz Premium. No regrets.

Already made my mind up to swap it out in the next few months to PS3s

2) There's a well-known bug that audio would turn on randomly when you move it into reverse. The others are like the FM radio turning on and playing automatically when you start the car. The unit also don't save my settings such as me turning off the touch-tones  Anyone else face this issue?

In a jam, fuel saved from less rolling resistance is negligible.

I don't think that's how fuel saving works. 

Just now I let my car idle for about 5mins and I notice weird smell coming out from my car hood, and there is steam coming out from the radiator cap.

I just changed my coolant last week, is this normal?

There is no sign of engine overheat, only 3 bars.

I really cannot catch a break, problem keep popping for my car.

The ac used to be freezing cold even when temperature is set to the highest but these few months it has been the other way around.

The first time I sent my car to SC regarding this issue they topped up the gas and it got better for about a month.

The second time around the mechanic told me rather impatiently that there is nothing wrong with the ac and that all I had to do was to lower the temperature.

The explanation sounds logical but the ac would still take way longer than usual (about 30 minutes on a rainy day) to get decently cold even when temperature is set to the lowest. I've never had such a problem with my previous Gen 2 and it's truly odd because Proton cars are known for their ac system.

Is there perhaps an explanation for such a phenomenon?

Been noticing an odd thing with the lights of the car, (1.6P 2019 facelift) - anyone notice the automatic headlights a bit aggressive?

The lights will turn on in an early bright morning or rainy sunshine day. Then the bootlight has also been rather inconsistent, it turns on sometimes, and doesn't turn on sometime. Anyone experience the same thing?

-Do you all feel that the driver's door is very hard to close?

-Anyone face the problem of the 40:60 rear foldable seat button problem? It's very hard to lock the seat back after you fold it down unless you hentam it kuat like crazy as the SC worker told me yesterday.

I guess that must be the cause then. I've often left it at the lowest since I bought the car. 

Unfortunately, I live in Perak and don't go down to KL that often anymore. What are the possible solutions to this inconvenience?

Our iriz rear wiper standard? Or like our front wiper is special type?
