Ok just came back from Proton Edar.
They said they might replace the steering shaft, maybe even the whole steering system.
I have to leave the car for 2-3 days for them to diagnostic again.
Luckily my car is still under warranty or else I have to pay RM1000++ for the parts.

I noticed one thing about Proton Edar, they exaggerate a lot, when it could just be a smaller issue. For instance, they told me my whole dashboard needs to be removed and re-fitted due to the rattles; hence, they wanted my car for 3 days. There was no compromise in their statements.
I found 3 issues myself, the steering cover metal piece was hitting something in the steering rack area, my AC switch panel needs more insulation to tighten it, and my third brake light just needs extra tape. Third brake light I did myself. For the other two, I went to another Proton service centre (Pesona Mahir), told them these are the issues. They added insulators, and tightened things up, and told me they might need to fix the aircond vents as well (rattles a little as well over rough roads) which we agreed would be during my 10,000KM service. This has solved about 80% of rattles in the car.
My advice would just to go to a Proton foreman who can explain things clearer to you. Your problem might just be a faulty motor, but because of their lack experience (since they just used to solve things by saying "biasa la proton"), they need 3 days to find an issue which should be able to be solved by reading the error code. My father's Perdana V6 ABS light was always on, he sent the car to Sri Petaling Proton, foreman plugged in their ECU reader/computer, and found a faulty code which should not be there. There was actually no problem with the ABS, and sensor just needed cleaning, and removing that line code. The car works fine.
