guys wanna ask, what is the service schedule after 150k km??
the stuffs listed in service booklet and online website all stop at 150k km..
how to know what next to service for 160k, 170k and so on.. ?
anyway was thinking about warranty as well..
when i bought the time, got this promo of extended warranty to 7 years or 250k km iinm..
but throughout my 4years+ ownership of the car (2015 car), never once gotten confirmation about that damn extended warranty..
right now my car is 4years and 3 months old. mileage is 118k km.. but my service is going for 150k km soon.. if it confuses you (basically the first 3 or so years of ownership was serviced by time interval every 6 months because of low mileage, but after that the mileage picked up cause im doing grab every month reach around 10k i guess)
but anyway since the warranty is 5 years or 150k km, whichever comes first. i guess i got around 30k km or about 7 more months of warranty left, not withstanding my so called "extended warranty" which im not even sure of its status..
so since my next service schedule falls under 150k km, and the service booklet stops at 150k km.. but im still under warranty for another 30k km, so i wanted to stick it out and continue servicing officially at SC.. so was wondering whats next.. as im still under warranty, but no idea what the service schedule will be like for the next 3 services..
anyway to summarize my 4years + of ownership of this car and clocking 118k km so far:

- never skipped a single service item, i followed the service schedule very strictly.
- never got stranded by the roadside so far..
- so far no major problems. only once recently, the engine when idling the RPM keeps fluctuating and wanna die like that, sent for checkup and they cleaned the throttle body. after that its back to normal.
- got one time engine temp warning pop out. sent to SC to check, radiator fan died. claimed radiator fan under warranty..
- changed brake pads 2 times.
- changed car battery once..
- all sorts of dashboard/door rattling noises i got when i owned the car for first 3 years is gone.. funnily enough its when i started doing grab. probably the abuses the car went through "fixed" the rattling noises somehow..
- along with other miracles, one time i went through a freshly built speed hump that was not painted yet and the tar was fresh as well so the road is just pitch black and with poor street lights. so i didnt notice the hump and went over it quite hard/fast and after that my rear suspensions were making ngek ngek ngek noises whenever i go through any humps.. sent to SC multiple times to check out what the issue was.. i suspected the rear absorbers gone kaput, but SC keep telling me nothing wrong with my suspension or absorbers.. after sending to SC 2 times and getting the same answers and all they could do was "tighten" the rears but the sound was still there after each visit. and on my final 3rd visit since they no clue what was making the noise (it was loud and audible, they even acknowledge theres a sound) so they suggest i go visit a bodyworks branch to let them check what was the issue..
I was lazy to make another SC appointment, so i went fuck it and let it be.. funnily enough.. after doing grab and ferrying passengers at the back, the rears no longer make any noise.. till this day i have no idea wtf even happened and the sound never came back..
so yeah thats 2 problems for me that solved on its own over time, rattling sounds + rear suspension making sound..
overall no complaints, and much2 cheaper than servicing/maintaining my new myvi..

Lel, itchy, i thought u drive lexus. Hahaha
Anyway, I asked Proton SC (Pesona Mahir) about this since I was there today for my 10k service. The foreman told me after 150k, it's between you and the SC. They will refer to the book for when to change parts, but it basically become manual servicing since there is no book to follow already. The foreman said to discuss with whichever Proton SC u go to.
Not sure about the extended warranty, though.
