back.... my report is, the guy /banker dont even know, he say only the IT staff will know about petrol rebate for esavers. but the advert is still up for it, so there should still be rebates.

the reason why they retain my card is r-block which the guy dont even know what it is. he just reissue me another card. so much for my time.

So the 7% cash rebate on petrol for esaver debit card still there?

What do you mean? You will get petrol rebate for which month? Since the current offer end Last December, do you ask them whether it will be continue or not?

By the way I just notice today that if you subscribe to estatement instead of paper statement, you will received RM5 rebate. Not sure the frequency of the rebate as my account only opened <2month. Applicable for both e$aver & Saadiq$aver.

Should not be as if the item is RM100, you should be paying RM100 with the debit card. But some shops want to add 2.5%-3.0% on top of your purchase as they do not want to pay the bank for debit/credit card facility. (Effectively, you are "paying" on their behalf)

If you can find shops that doesn't add any extras, buy from that shop instead. Buy and purchase wisely as times are bad.

Simple ... Maybank can afford to do so and they want to give it for free. They can charge you a minimal fee (still cheaper than others) if they wanted to right ?

Most prob AMBank blocks out PayPal (for NextG products) for their own internal reasons. The same system banks use to detect cc frauds.

I think can't but din really bother to try it on Genting website. Coz like all the ppl posted here edi, Maybank Debit card can't be used for on9 payment. Anything associated with it oso same. Just use phone booking, it's better but will be 10 percent more expensive than on9 booking.

it's not 10% extra. it's RM10 extra but recently they just up the service charge for phone booking to RM15 or RM20 I think.

maybank debit card can only use for online transfer frm 1 account to another account and also pay online bill
other than that is a big no no for maybank debit card...
its like normal atm card, can't do any transaction in paypal and watsoever.
but u can use it in any shops or supermarkets that accept VISA card.

if wanna do online payments or bookings... just use Public Bank Visa Electron. well, i always use it to buy gsc tics online.

notice - i think need to register ur card with...Verified by Visa on the public bank website. then when doing online payment, need to key-in ur password.
