You mean this particular Astro box you're showing us right now, before this is using the older HD box or PVR box?
Or all along was Ulti or Ultra Box, but you just contacted Astro to convert it from primary to Multiroom subscription?

Can confirm, your Multiroom box now is under Satellite mode or Plug & Play mode? This message appears when you play On Demand content or how?
Is your Astro box too far away from your WiFi router? Or, have you tried connect LAN cable from your Astro box to your router?

Try unplug the power, and power it on again.

This message immediately appear when you press any channel number, is it? Or it will only show when you try to play On Demand content?

What other troubleshooting steps you have tried?
Forget WiFi network, and then re-enter WiFi password to connect again?
Or try turn on your mobile hotspot, and then connect that WiFi hotspot network on your Ultra Box, to see if you still see this HC 408 error.

Are you able or tried to connect LAN cable from your Ultra Box to your router?

That LAN cable connection goes straight to your router? Have you tried unplug and then plug in again the LAN cable on both ends?
And also, unplug the power of your router, and then power it on again?

Does your parents or yourself, do a lot of recordings on your Astro PVR box? Do note that you'll lose all recordings made on your PVR box as you change to new box.

Misalignment on the satellite dish or LNB could be the reason why the signal strength readings is at medium. In ideal scenario, Strength readings can go as high as 80-90%.

If you are on Premium Pack 2, then you can't be using PVR box because Ultra Box is mandatory for Premium Pack 2 since day one.
I believe you've seen the screenshot wrongly. Check that screenshot again...

Then that means your current old Panasonic HD TV supports HDCP, hence you should be fine even with Ultra Box or Ulti Box.
Shouldn't be worried about this also la... You should be able to use Ultra Box like usual, without buying new TV... just that you will see HDCP 2.2 error when viewing UHD channels/content. sweat.gif

Yes. Astro installer will come to the registered address, and you must surrender your old Astro boxes to swap to the new Ulti/Ultra Boxes.

Make sure all 3 Astro boxes that is supposed to be installed in that house as registered in Astro system, are all in that house when the installer comes.
Don't make things awkward when the installer come to your house, and then tell him that the other Astro boxes are somewhere else 😑

Once you got all 3 new Astro boxes, and the installer left your house, then you do la what you want to do. sweat.gif

Also, if you still want all your 3 Astro boxes to be under Satellite mode, please tell that CS agent that you want all of the boxes in satellite mode.
If you don't say anything, then all Ulti/Ultra Boxes that you'll be getting, very likely will be in Plug & Play mode.

Yes you can. Gather all the smart card numbers of all 3 Astro boxes you have, tell them specifically which are the ones that you want it to upgrade and which to maintain.
To retrieve your Astro smart card number, you can press home>Settings>STB Diagnostics.

For Multiroom, usually they'll give you Ulti Box by default.
But if you want Ultra Box, just pay for additional installation fee.

Each Astro account can only have 1 Multiroom (Smart TV) subscription, and 3 Multiroom (Astro Box) subscription.
Once you subscribe to the Multiroom (Smart TV) subscription, it at your own risk to login that account on another TV at another house.

do they detect what if ip same or not..
So far I never hear such stories that they "catch" those who have different IP address or whatnot la.
As long it is a Malaysian IP address (no VPN of course), then it should be fine.

If you (the account owner) are still on older Astro packs, it is likely that you'll be getting Ulti Box instead.
If you are interested to access 4K UHD channel/content, like channel 549 and 805, then tell them you want Ultra Box, and see what they say.

Since home still got satelite
If you still want to receive TV channels via satellite dish, you have to tell them to create your upgrade box order as Satellite.
If you don't say anything, they will create your upgrade box order as Plug & Play.

When the installer comes, you can explain to him that you easily get SCNA even before it rains or something, and tell him to try re-align the dish/LNB skew if possible.
Hopefully that they'll assign a hardworking Astro installer that is dedicated to his work and willing to help you check further la.
Otherwise, there may be installers out there just want to get things done quick. Means, "faster change box, faster leave your house. <10 mins settle. "

You: Hey Astro. This show titled ______________ has no subtitle.
Astro be like: Yes correct. As per checking, this episode has meant to be no subtitle.
You: ???

We all should say thank you to Astro for confirming that this show or episode has no subtitle. smile.gif
Conclusion: If you see no subtitle, that means no subtitle. But if in doubt, you can confirm again with Astro whether is it true whether that show has subtitle or not. doh.gif
