Also, do you have Multiroom boxes at home, or connected to any cable splitters in between the connection to your Astro dish?
- Multiroom (Box) means, having two or more Astro boxes installed In the same house/premise. Additional monthly fee of RM49.99/month per box. Not to be confused with Multiroom (Smart TV).
- Cable splitters, that may also includes having multiple Astro TV wall sockets in the same house (e.g. upstairs bedroom and downstairs living room).

So you're saying that you have 2 Astro Ultra Boxes connected from the same Astro dish, correct? I assume that's the case for you now la. Later correct me if I'm wrong.
Since you said you can watch CH 805 & 549 when the LNB Type setting is on "Universal", then let's keep it that way for now first.
Also, what is the satellite signal strength reading on your Ultra Box now? You can view it by pressing home>Settings>Satellite Settings>Diagnostics
On that page, just tell me the CNR value in dB will do.

2 Ultra Boxes, connected to 2 separate Astro dishes? Is the LNB Type setting for both Ultra Boxes are configured as "Universal" and able to view CH549/805?
If yes, then I suspect it might be either due to cabling issue or LNB faulty to the Ultra Box.

By any chance, are you able to pull out the F connector easily from your satellite cable? If yes, then you should re-terminate the cable already. Here's how:

The satellite dish position will still be facing west, but due to the orbital position, you'll notice that the satellite dish's elevation will be tilted further lower compared to Astro Measat's 91.5°E position.

Since when you started to experience this issue? Or you've been experiencing this issue since the day you got your Ultra Box?
If your WiFi router isn't far away from your TV, I suggest you just connect LAN cable for your Ultra Box.
New features from third party apps usually won't come immediately to Astro boxes one, especially Disney+ Hotstar...

Is your Ultra Box connected to satellite dish? Or your Ultra Box is on Plug & Play?

Live broadcast of an event (e.g. sports match, news, singing competitions) are not to be confused with "live" linear TV channel.
Astro can purposely delay the live broadcast feed of an event (e.g. sports match, news, singing competitions) in the name of complying country's censorship guidelines, before it is being transmit out to satellite/streaming servers and then we watch it on our Astro boxes. The delay could be 30 seconds, or even up to 10 minutes or longer, it also depends on how "important" that event is.
And yes, since they've delayed the live broadcast feed, so they can slot-in or replace to their in-house ads whenever they want.
For me, I called it "content tampering" because it makes the content as "no longer original as its intended form from content provider".

The censorshipman will have to be an eagle eye to monitor the content of the live feed in real-time to ensure that things that should be tampered censored, are being tampered censored in real-time.

As for which live broadcast of events they will purposely delay it, or choose to "no delay at all", that will remain everybody's guess. Only their censorshipman knows it well.

As I said before, the prices you see on Astro website are only applicable for new customers only. It is not eligible for existing customers.

If the Ultra Box is on satellite mode, then it has to be connected to satellite cable to receive live TV channels.

Whenever the Ultra Box detects no satellite signal (e.g. you bring the box to other rooms that does not have satellite cable connection, or heavy rain outside), you will see this everytime you change channel:

You'll need to press Switch Now, then it will load the channel via WiFi (Internet streaming).

However, as long your Ultra Box is connected to WiFi (Internet), you can still stream On Demand content and cloud recordings via My Library page as usual, regardless on where you bring the box to (as long within Malaysia, of course).

Or, if you don't like to manually toggle it like this every time when bad weather occurs or you bring to some other room that doesn't have satellite cable connection, or you don't want this weather interruption to interrupt your TV viewing ever again, and prefer it to go 100% Internet streaming and throw away your satellite dish, yes it is possible. You can go for Plug & Play mode for your Ulti/Ultra Box.
But I must remind you that the reliability and overall experience of their Plug & Play (Internet streaming) service isn't going to be exactly the same as what you can get today from a satellite dish reception (put aside the weather interruption).

Which Astro pack you're on now?

Do note that due to the nature of Internet streaming (Plug & Play), there will be a streaming latency of up to 1 minute compared to watching the channel via Astro satellite dish.
Which means, imagine your friends or neighbours watching the live football match via Astro dish, and the team just scored a goal, but what you see on TV, the team stull haven't score a goal. You would have to wait till about 1 minute then only you see the team score a goal.

If you don't mind that streaming latency with Plug & Play, then you may proceed with Plug & Play. Otherwise, tell Astro technician to lay a satellite cable connection to 2nd floor room (you'll need to pay the technician for workmanship).

Also, tell Astro customer service agent that you want the Satellite mode installation rather than Plug & Play. If you don't say anything, they'll give you the Plug & Play option by default.

If you're eligible, you can upgrade it through My Astro app, or WhatsApp Astro, or contact customer service.
Just asking to see if you're on the legacy pack or the new Astro packs... Cuz they have an ongoing campaign for legacy pack customers that allows them to swap to either Ulti or Ultra Box with no additional fee and no contract, subject to your package tier.

You can check on which pack name you're currently subscribed to, at myastro.astro.com.my or My Astro app. Login using the same credentials as your Astro Go account.

If you want to continue watching Astro via satellite dish upon taking up the free upgrade offer to Ulti/Ultra Box, you must tell that customer service agent that you want it to be in Satellite mode rather than in Plug & Play mode.
You must make sure they are aware of this before they create order in their system and assign a technician over to your house.
If you don't tell them anything about this, they will assume that you are okay with Plug & Play, and create your order as a Plug & Play instead.

Even if you try to Restore Factory Settings by yourself and select Satellite mode later on, there will be a lot of channels getting the Subscription Required message, and this scenario will always be there until you Restore Factory Settings back to Plug & Play mode.
So if you still want Satellite, better tell them beforehand.
If you don't stream On Demand content at all, they won't have the chance to "attack" you with their addressable advertisements.

You can also WhatsApp Astro (+60395433838) and Type 7 for Box Upgrade, you'll be connected to a live agent. You can tell that agent that you want the free box upgrade to be Satellite installation.
They keep extending their promo price period... I tell you what... Just assume the price is RM14.99.
Until the day you see they going to charge you the price of RM29.99, and you're not happy with it, then you can just cancel it. It won't trigger contract penalty whatsoever.
