Thanks joshhd, that's explain alot. By the way, besides chinese favourite that is removed, I remember there is also a Malay favourite? Or maybe I remember wrongly? What happened to that?

Didn't really keep track, just that last time when subscribe, I think there is like emperor or jade for chinese, then maybe 1 or 2 indian channel options, and also some mustika package to choose from for malay, oh... and there is also korea option as well
Haha... maybe is way way way back then. Anyway. thanks for explaining, maybe not relevant anymore now.

So basically most Malay and Chinese channesl are bundled and pack as basic. That's good actually.

I think they will as it is just legacy and they will honour it, or at least until a new package is introduce.
Just my thinking, because generally for sports, they don't differentiate football out, yet. At least for the time being.
They had separate out wrestling, rugby and golf.

So unless they come up with a new way to separate out the football package which I think may be a mess, so until then they will honour the package ....

But that package is no longer available for subscription right. It only available to those that subscribe back then before the cut off date. For those that already on the sport package, they cannot downgrade that easily due to contract back then and nobody know that their subscription will enable the full sport package.
The timing of subscription for those that are lucky enough... cool2.gif

But who knows if too much complaint maybe they remove RM9.99 subscribers. cool2.gif

Last time I remember there is a clause stating that the smart TV can be switch between TV only once a month. But I cannot find that statement. Maybe you can try to switch between smart TV and see if its block you from switching again. cool2.gif I did try it once when I balik kampung, and I move the smart TV app to my kampung TV... then switch it back when I returned. But I did stay in Kampung for about 2 weeks. Not sure if it had reset the cooling period of switching. It it works like Disney+ Hotstar, as long as we can authenticate the switching, then it may work.

Officially, there's only 2 ways to downgrade your Super Pack 3 to the lower package, which is call customer service 03-95433838, or visit your nearest Astro Exclusive Partner branch (that will be one of the last resort).
Live agents, email, feedback form, will not entertain downgrade requests (because anything that will affect their revenue, should be made difficult to customer to do it) unless if it is till the point of you fed up already, or you threaten them to complaint to MCMC, then only they will entertain on a case-by-case basis.

Unfortunately, that is not possible if you want to maintain your Multiroom box. Your main subscription must exceed RM100 to be eligible for Multiroom Box subscription.
The closest alternative you can consider is, Sports Pack (RM99.99) + Multiroom (RM49.99) = RM149.98 excl. tax.

I’m not the regular user just doing this to reduce monthly cost for my Parents and they mainly just watch HHD-CHN 333.
Starting 1 Apr 2024, Astro has made all Chinese channels practically "free", as it has moved to the base package, making pretty much every Astro customers (regardless of race) able to watch it.
All Chinese channels, means from CH300 until CH335. So yes, that includes Astro Hua Hee Dai CH333. More info here:

If go with whole family with kids or baby, then even 10 minutes feels like eternity. doh.gif

But there isn't much service agent on duty in weekend, 2 or 3 only... then if 1 customer is complaining on the same problem to the service agent for 30 minutes again and again... then the queue become very very long mega_shok.gif

Maybe post your bill so that it is clearer. For my case the wifi is charged at the full normal price RM129 and stated as 100Mbps, but it is upgraded to 500Mbps and the price reduction is indicated in bundle discount.

As for the SST the price indicated is without tax, but there is tax legend indicating S1 - 8% or S2 - 6%, so at the bottom then the tax is calculated on the total amount minus the discount. So tax is charged on the discounted price

Totally agree that once you confirm it is a miscalculation, lodging MCMC report can expedite the process greatly.

But I think before he lodge the complaint, it is best that he understand that how his bill is being calculated.
Once can confirm they forget to provide rebate, or overcharge SST and etc. then the complaint is valid.

Just my opinion, if the issue is more that a month and have not resolve yet. You should dragged MCMC in and make yourself clear in your complaint that termination on the basis that service provider cannot provide services (iQiYi) as pertain in contract. In your report file to MCMC, do include all the chat history, emails and also person you contact with.

Just curious, Is there big difference between Singapore (international verions) vs ours. I roughly browse through my friends disney+ in SG, seems the same, just no (Malaysia local content). But those popular and new shows is there.

I understand when they just launch, it is quite bad... but now seems not so much difference.

I think the advertisement sector changed. In the old days, company wants to advertise on TVs and Radios as it is prestige and exclusive. But now, noticed that more and more company setup their own facebook and mange their own PR and advertising through social media.
