The negotiation between assthrow and Dentsu was months ago and so called fan club proudly announced there would be one 4K olympics channels.
If assthrow has money then can even provide all 4K Olympics channels but it doesn't have the capability to do so now.
Even unifi tv can provide olympic exclusive HD channels (17 vs assthrow 16) free for all, unlike assthrow.

Singapore is having 17 Olympics channels like unifi from Dentsu.
Assthrow does not have enough capacity to have all 17 channels.

Yeah. I noticed that since yesterday where badminton matches that has Malaysian contingents in it, out of all 18 Unifi Sports channels or any of the RTM / RTMklik channels, neither ANY of them are showing it.

Earlier when I was watching Astro Arena (801), soon after Lee Zii Jia won the badminton match, it shows this on-screen graphics/overlay.

As you can clearly see above, this on-screen graphics/overlay is in Malay rather than in English. So definitely it is "custom made" for or by Astro, and that is not what the rest of the world see.
Also, it clearly stated that the matches is "EXCLUSIVE ONLY ON ASTRO CH801, STADIUMASTRO.COM & SOOKA"
Neither of the 16 dedicated Olympics channels are showing this match. But only Astro Arena channel 801 are showing it.

Because they know many of us are interested to watch sports matches that has Malaysian contingents (based on the past viewership numbers?), so it seems that as long the sports matches has Malaysian contingents in it, they made the matches to be exclusive within their platforms only (Astro/NJOI/Sooka) till the point that you can't watch it on RTM and Unifi TV platforms. 😐

So if anyone asks how come cannot watch Olympics sports matches that has Malaysian contingents in it, on either RTM or Unifi TV platforms, now you know why.

I see it uneepai never want to be like azzteroo and they never really see sports as so important to need spend millions millions. They are more just general entertainment i see it. Azzteroo is still home of sports if not they already close shop. But be that needs alot alot alot money and azzteroo seems dont have much left especially now got 700+ mil tax bill. I hope they can find more money to keep going for good of sports fans.

Assthrow is unable to bring in 4K olympics channels because of no money and now give free access to all customers.
Even with the visible effort to show they are superior than unifi and rtm, it will not bring in substantial positive results in the book.
So far shopee is the only noteable advertiser for assthrow olympics program.

Assthrow is like KFC.  Customers are shunning it away because of expensive and tasteless products.
Assthrow like to recycle old shows and continue to piss off the customers.

You have already paid a premium under sport pack and assthrow customers are expecting at least one 4K channel for olympics like what previous tokyo 2020 olympics.

KFC fall has much lesser influence on US Israel issue.
It is the quality of KFC food and one of my family relatives had done a survey for several customers visiting KFC (university project).
If your reasoning for US Israel issue is correct, why the NONs are shunning KFC away too but not to McD?

We still cannot find good local contents from assthrow that can overturn assthrow fate but continuation of repeating old shows.
This is leading to more ppl shunning away.
Company performance you would care less, but they need $$$ to provide good programs to grow.
No $$$ meaning more repeats, no new shows and etc.

Must be just signed agreement with Astro 😁

No, I think you guys got it wrong...

If your Netflix standalone addon is billed through Astro, then the price hike will take effect on next billing cycle.
But if you get Netflix subscription through Astro bundles (Entertainment Plus Pack, Movies Plus Pack, Sports Plus Pack, Premium 2, Premium 3, Platinum Pack...), then you'll experience some price hike from 1 March 2025 onwards.

If you don't need Viu Premium then it's fine.

Since there is a reduction in total monthly fee, then the change would take effect on the next billing cycle, rather than immediate.

Too late for me. My contract was over in October and called to downgrade on the day I was out of contract, monthly payment was reduced by RM 60 but they didn’t offer me anything.
Now I’m tied to another 24 months. I’m happy with the price reduction as I don’t need other channels except for Chinese, Sports and Netflix. Just that seeing you all get rebates and also can retain more channels makes me feel sad.

Ah, so it's not just me... 

I also encounter this exact error on my Ultra Box in recent weeks, especially when I'm watching linear TV channel and then I try to trigger Play from Start or Live Pause feature.
It happens randomly, and that message can stay there as long as it wants.
I just press Back, then the message dismisses, then nothing happens afterwards.
So I have to initiate Play from Start or Live Pause again, and try my luck to see if works. 

And of course, there's nothing wrong with my Internet connection at that time.

Anyone notice this error recently?
