why don't accept as long as the terminal able to use Visa or MasterCard?

haha i like this idea but could pretend holding a dummy card on hand and ready Samsung Pay, ask the cashier for payWave without handing the card then tap using Samsung Pay when the terminal is ready. is that evil? 😂

NSK Taman Sentosa accepts SPay for quite a while now...

Altho a few months back, they quite hesitant to accept SPay even if the machine support wave (they accept cards wave no problem, but not SPay)

Once i convince the cashier to try and it work.
I told them its oversea card that dont have chip and work only paywave / swipe.

Its not their cashier problem, the supervisor onsite/management not allow it.

Hi, newbie here. Anyone encounter Public Bank credit card when paying at terminal using Samsung Pay, but come out message "Do Not Honor" My Maybank and Hong Leong bank credit card not problem.

You reached the limit for paywave. You need to key in your PIN to reset it.

My SamsungPay with the GSCxHLB Card unable to capture the discount rate for popcorn combo. Already escalate to HLB department. Anyone using take note yo.

How do u prove to them you are actually using HLB card? If their system capture card number then definitely will not capture it as HLB card as Spay actually issues a "virtual card" with different card number. That will explain why u cant get discount rate combo as its for specific bank card only.

You can still use Samsung Pay for amount more than RM250, only that pin will be triggered and you will have to insert pin.

There is a limit in terms of number of taps. After every 9 taps, you have to reset it with pin with physical card.

easier you just change your card. Been using maybank card very rare to see the DO NOT HONOR error except if usage above 1k above. The limit is set by the bank.

I also have same problem with Public Bank on Samsung Pay, and always error "Do not honor" for 2 weeks already.
I do not have problem on CIMB, Standard Chartered and HSBC.
