yes you are right. dont remove too fast. Wait for the beep or notification before removing. Removing too fast sometimes will lead to transaction error

personal experience, some cards are more likely to fail, like cimb mc at family mart, but no prob with citibank visa

never had any issue using cimb mc at aeon though

I use Citibank Visa very often. 99% of the time, always successful. No problem what's so ever. Hong Leong and Cimb, intermittent and sometimes fails.

Some of the MBB Terminal are still having older firmware and only accept visa paywave or MST via Visa.. but not accepting PayPass or MasterCard Contactless

In my experience MBB visa as the highest success rate. Have never fail me before except one particular day all transaction denied.

cimb MC success like 50/50 sometimes dont work.

Last week I went to village grocer in klcc / avenue k, when I asked to pay with paywave, the cashier asked master or visa. When I told him master, he said cannot. Have to use visa card instead. Lucky I have both.

I think MC still needs time to mature and get widely accepted with their paywave/contactless payment system. Nevertheless, it is good to have both for convenience.

Actually we dont really need master. I feel visa is mature enough. Been using maybank visa of my 25k points can say 99%, no issue except once.

i removed my cimb card on current device, then add on other device, but pop up this msg

Yes all pumps at Caltex cannot use Samsung Pay due to safety.
If want to use better go to the counter.

thought why my transaction was denied at caltex. Went to BHP no issue.

What I meant is cannot use Samsung Pay at the petrol pumps.
But usually I noticed Samsung Pay always fails when try to use it in the morning.
And Caltex PayWave system hates Mastercard.
It frequently fail when try to use it.
Visa no problem at all.

I have no problem with CIMB Mastercard.

it failed yesterday at pump for my maybank visa at caltex. I went to BHP i pump RM10 x 3 times at pump all successful.

Maybe it depends on the terminal.
That is my experience so far.
Visa no problem so far.
Mine is HLB Mastercard.
For BHP a bit far from my house.
So quite difficult for me to try.
The nearest is Petronas, Petron or Caltex.

I use Samsung Pay at the pump for Caltex and BHP most of the times. No issue so far, just remember to touch your vehicle as it acts as a ground/earth in case of any static.
