Hi guys.
Just want to update.
It seems Samsung Rewards on Gear S3 are working flawlessly.
But I have one problem, is there a special way to place the Gear on the terminal?
Previously I try to pay at McD and it detects as swipe.
This time also try to use at Tesco, still show as swipe.
Trying to use NFC payment but still detect as MST swipe.
I did not like payment via swipe because need to sign the slip.

BTW I sync with phone with Gear always.
Maybe that is why it received points immediately.
Maybe you can report it later if the points are still not credited.

That is why I choose Gear S3.
So that I have a fallback mechanism if Wave fail.
But now my NFC always fail.
MST is functioning properly.
But ok la.
Still can show off pay using watch wat.
The face of cashier is priceless when pay using watch.

KFC terminal sucks.
Always give reason whether it is down or cashier don’t know how to use it.
Tried many times ald.
Last time I use it, wave many times error always.
They put that terminal for show only.

That is really a good news for me.
I always go to Sushi King and so far using SPay never had any problems.
9 times eat there all pay using SPay.
It works miraculously.

If dapat Powerbank and RM100 voucher enough ald.

Both my HLB and Maybank Visa card can be added to both my Note8 and Gear S3.
Based on your list, Maybank only can add to two devices.
For Maybank, if you have problem, you may call Maybank hotline to check the tokens available.
Mine previously got the same problem due to one token is used for Visa Checkout.
So I call them to remove the Visa Checkout token to add to my Gear S3.

Definitely Samsung Pay wins.
Their payment tech can work on any terminal.
Thanks to MST tech.
Including the old swipe one.
Plus only Samsung gives rewards for using their service.
Others do not expect much.

Well for me S3 got a lot of features.
Answer call, reply messages, fitness band (which also nags if I sit too long) etc.
BTW S3 battery can last long than the Apple Watch.
My record so far 3 days max.
And nowadays I mostly pay with my watch since the Rewards is available on the Gear.

So agree with you.
So far the Gear makes my life a bit easier.
Loving the watch so much rite now!

At the counter or at the pump?

Yes all pumps at Caltex cannot use Samsung Pay due to safety.
If want to use better go to the counter.

What I meant is cannot use Samsung Pay at the petrol pumps.
But usually I noticed Samsung Pay always fails when try to use it in the morning.
And Caltex PayWave system hates Mastercard.
It frequently fail when try to use it.
Visa no problem at all.

Maybe it depends on the terminal.
That is my experience so far.
Visa no problem so far.
Mine is HLB Mastercard.
For BHP a bit far from my house.
So quite difficult for me to try.
The nearest is Petronas, Petron or Caltex.

It seems now GSC is accepting CC on all of their concession and ticket counters.
Previously only one counter got the CC terminal.

BTW tried SPay on GSC Palm Mall, working flawlessly.
Using the Hong Leong Bank terminal.
But need to tap 2 times at the CC terminal.
Don't know why.

Because I noticed the first tap is RM0. The second tap is RM20.20.

At KFC Genting, MyNews First World Genting, Eight Ounce Coffee Genting and Kyochon 1991 Genting.
All failed.
Waiting until today no poimts credited.
And all my receipts have thrown in the trash.
Hmmmm.
