Any owners can give real life FC ?
I went and saw x70, absolutely stunning. Just waiting to arrange a day to test drive. So far abit concern about FC only

Real life fc is just like my waja. 10km a litre or 8km in town but it is almost twice my waja weight.

My real life fc 100% city more than 12L/100km, 100% highway 10L/100km or less. Those showed at meter indicator, computed fc is not accurate n around 20% lower than calculated. Those claim low FC is controlled fc, by proton die hard fan or SA. At china owners main complaint is poor FC compare with other suv. It cant be suddenly good fc when landed in malaysia. 😂

Is anyone own a standard variant? Is it a good idea to buy a standard variant? How is the quality of the fabric seats?

FC is the main concern for those who are coming from B Segment (Vios City etc). Those that already research before buying SUV already know the higher fuel consumption of SUV, so high FC is a non issue. They can afford it.

What this segment (those coming from B Segment) should really worry about is the maintenance cost. As I wrote earlier, the 19" tyres aren't cheap (RM600 per piece), yearly spark plugs replacement (RM112), coolant (RM119) & ATF (RM500) at 60,000 (3rd year) service. Wait till they see the price of shock absorber, suspension mounting, lower arm, brake pads ... All these gotta carry a 1.7 tons SUV.

Agreed. Most people I nthis thread worry about FC then the maintenance cost. I can foresee their eyes will drop to floor after hand on the bill.

Me driving b segment almera currently. Not sure change X70 or not.....

Not sure if i understand you correctly, you are saying that all SUV in general has high FC? Is x70 FC normal / high compare to the other SUVs in the market?

Yes and no for the first question.
He mean to compare c segment suv to b segment sedan FC.
If sedan compare suv. It more to its weight and engine/transmission effectiency will react to FC. But suv normally weight more. So it high Fc normally.

Second. Yep. X70 overall abit higher then other same class suv. Due to extra few hundards kg and less efficient engine.

(I talk about overall don't quote me something special efficient c segment suv)
