Anything made in china turn me off, have many bad experiences with china products, especially handphones....for car safety is important, i m still have no confidence with the car.
*
Nowadays china brands r competative n quality improved. They r targeting global market n i dont think geely wana mess up their global car reputation. I know there is some complaints on its gearbox back in china that make me worry. πŸ˜‚ Im happy with huawei phone, taobao products (with good review) n xiaomi products, smart home system... Most of your household things r made in china. But i may still drop the booking if not happy with test drive or pricing

Testing environment in China right ? Do you know how bad is their traffic there ?

Anyway, heavy turbo small engine. A bit higher FC is not a surprise.
*
If u read details on the FC gap percentage. Boyue 1.8T, FC is 142% discrepency than reported FC at spec. CRV actual FC is 120% discrepency than reported FC at honda spec, which is quite accurate, confirmed with crv owners. CRV 1.5T actual FC is around 10km/L. This study paper is kinna interesting. Their sample size is very big, which is good

There is another graph that reported actual boyue FC at china different big city, u can take the best actual FC reported, if die die wana defend x70. πŸ˜‚ If not mistake it is 11L/100km, also not that impressive

anyone got any data for the FC of this car?
*
My personal FC, heavy foot, 40% highway 60% city, 1k mileage. Indicator show 11.1 L/100km. Actual FC based on total petrol used, 13. 6 L/100km.

I think less than 10L/100km is achievable, it is all depend on driving habit

hows the ride so far?

R u going to get x70?

U can check the professional car blogger review, very details n accurate. Im driving B segment car, honda city. Never test drive other suv, cant give u good feedback. For sure is im happy owner πŸ˜‚ love the comfort ride n its Adaptive Cruise control

What the review not mention is the actual FC, mine as mention b4, is at high side. My city drive 12L/100km above, but havent calculate the 100% highway fc.

Reason i choose x70 is it is worthy, offer the best spec compare with other more expensive suv, smart car fun to ride, comfortable, ACC, good looking solid car, high FC is acceptable for my weekend car, support proton so that geely will intro more cheap fancy car πŸ˜‚ but the top reason for me is it is CBU, no doubt in decision to take first batch without test drive

your FC is a long term FC ka?

FC is bit of a turn off
*
X70 dont hv good FC at the begining back in china. Its selling points r fancy spec, safety & quality. If fc is ur top concern then u may skip x70 d n get those high efficient expensive car πŸ˜‚

Long term worse, 14-15L/100km. Around 12-13L/100km is my new adapted driving behavior

Really 14litre per 100km?Β  I think its not possible as yhe test car also register this 14litre per km...

2 possibility...
1.Β  14.5litre is the max it can calculate
2.Β  Customers use in city only??

How can test car fuel consumption be sane as end users??
*
If the x70 meter show fc 14L/100km, the actual fc mayb 16.8L/100km. My calculated fc is around 20% higher than the fc computed at the meter. Other car also same, actual fc mayb 10% - 15% higher than wat is computed at the meter

What i mean is if i told u my actual fc calculated from volume petrol pump n travel distance, is 12L/100km, the computed fc at my x70 may only show 10L/100km. How got this big different, some ppl say mayb the computed fc is not counting in engine idle at the traffic, or the computer is not sensitive enuf, i dont know. U can compare the actual fc of ur current car n ur calculated fc n let everyone know how big the different

Calculated fc for example,
Distance 1383-1254=129
Fuel spent 57-40.5=16.5
Actual FC = 12.79L/100km
But indicator that i hv reset after refueling show 9.7 L/100km for computed fc

How is the sound system quality and NVH compare to city?
*
NVH is very good. When crusing at low speed, u cant feel ur tyres, n like driving a space ship. πŸ˜‚

Sound system average, readjust the equalizer only gives some small improvement, not a good system for audiophile, the bass is too soft even for premium with subwoofer

1 tank 380km achievable...
*
The fuel capacity around 60L. 380km is not good. Around 15L/100km. My x70 is also around 14-15L/100km if i dont behave my foot πŸ˜‚

Current fc is 11l/100km so that’s normal compared to a forester which is also 11l/100

Both readings are OTR with long term use
*
11L/100km mayb behaved driving. Lately i only manage to get 13L-14L/100km for city driving 😬
