webe focusing with band 40 2300mhz
Beginning Q1 2017, webe will be rolling out 2.3GHz TD-LTE coverage which will provide a higher capacity on top of its existing 850MHz LTE network. According to the chart shown above, this would possibly deliver faster speeds up to 110Mbps. For the first phase, webe will be targeting 5 key areas in Malaysia namely the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.

In a nutshell, band = range of frequencies it operates. So, if the device doesn't support that particular band, then no signal. For example, band 5 (850Mhz). If the area runs on band 5, but your device doesn't support it, then it's shows as no signal. sweat.gif

Another example, say that your phone Redmi 4x. It supports band 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38 & 40. It shows that it supports all Unifi Mobile LTE band (5, 38, 40). So where ever the're an LTE coverage, your phone should be able to pick it up. thumbup.gif

hi,

I have 2 webe accounts (1 main 1 supp). After using few months, i decided to mnp to other telco due some reason.

Would you guys mind to guide me how should I proceed to mnp to other telco?

Should i go to webe centre and ask for termination ? How about my both phone no. ?

Or i just go to telco centre and apply for mnp?

Certain brands of phones like Samsung allow you to see which band you're on.

After using it for weeks as main number, I am considering to port out already.
Some area speed is decent, some area totally unable to load web pages.
Very unreliable as a main number.
