So I just got back from Singapore, and found that DiGi WiFi Calling is enabled in Singapore. Made some calls back to KL, and my roaming minutes were unaffected.

Is WiFi Calling enabled in any other countries? I was in a couple of other countries earlier this month, but WiFi Calling didn't appear elsewhere... maybe it's a new change?

Anyone know which digi has stock for the free phones offered for family plan? So far all the digi centres I went to all have no stock and have to book and wait for one month for stock.

Yes I guess so. The WiFi calling has been there since the 11.3 was released.

I am using it in Taiwan too.

If there are any changes, they're fairly new... When I was in Thailand in April, no WiFi Calling while roaming yet. Spent April with my DiGi SIM in a non-WiFi Calling phone, spent this month in a bunch of non ASEAN countries and had no WiFi Calling either.

Just trying to figure out if it's an ASEAN only rollout (could be up to two months old) or if it's worldwide (but very recent).

I want to enquire about voLTE calls using DIGI:

1. Can I use voLTE call to a normal house telekom landline or the other side must have voLTE capability before the call can be connected.

2. If I call a landline overseas using voLTE, is this call considered as internet call without charges (similar to whatsapp call) or is it considered as an overseas call with oversea rate charges

VoLTE is only between the caller and the telco network. The connection between the telco and the receiving party is irrelevant (it may or may not be VoLTE also).

No difference in call charges regardless of whether it's a VoLTE call or not. If you make an IDD call you will still be charged at the usual IDD rates.

If you want free IDD calls, try WhatsApp-to-WhatsApp or Skype-to-Skype calling.

Both side must have VoLTE capability.

You can't do that as per answer in q1. VoLTE is not a VOIP call. It just meant that the call are placed over 4G network with better voice quality and you can surf and call at the same time on 4G network. Charges are still the same.

Anyone facing network problems? Mine has been laggy the entire day and now the line is dead. Been having similar problems quite regularly and I pay my bills regularly too. Time to switch provider?
