If really there is such offensive virus in the USB drive, the is no different if you buy Porches or Proton. Any operating system is having risk to be infected by virus.

I can digest that logic. That does make sense. I was under the assumption that simple electronics (mp3 players, HU, yada yada) is not permeable to virus due to its simplicity.

Anyway, one more question ya sifus. I’ve came accriss a read that says we can’t crawl with clutch cvt. That basically a big sign saying ‘screw you and your KL-Cyberjaya trip’. Aside from waiting for a sufficient distance between us and the car in front to move, is there any other way to overcome this issue? Or maybe our clutch is well-designed not to wear out for years like my old, loyal 1998 iswara aeroback manual?

Where you find the electric folding mirror housing? How much it cost? For my car, i already add fog lamp (no extra switch), tweeter and also underseat woofer...

I am from Manual Iswara to Persona also. You will need time to retrain your right leg on the trottle and brakes. I bet u you missed millimetres control on your pedal.

Manual with Cable throttle you control the car.
Auto... You basically need to answer "are you sure" <yes><no>

After a few days u start learning how to crawl bumper to bumper.

Haha if possible, maybe go proton original parts and ask for premium variant of electric folding mirror housing? Just thinking. But need to know how to route it, if it's even possible. I'm not familiar with modding though. The premium variant is auto, so there wun be a switch. But how does the automation works, that part i dunno. Is it a integrated controller or jz mapped to engine start up?

Btw, then how you turn on / off your fog lamp?

I ever ask Proton about Persona original fog lamp, they not selling...

My fog lamp come with angle ring 1, so when start the car, the ring will light up as daylight, for the led once i turn on car light, it will light up also.

This car very 'cold door' / non-mainstream. So aftermarket parts also not that much choices compare to the rest.

Cause the fog lamp switch is use signal side to open, so even they sold to us, we also cannot install it.

Eh. But we do have a fog lamp switch, since all variants have rear fog lamps. Was planning to map the front fog lamps to that. But i shud push these thoughts off. Focus on tint first haha

If original wiring is untouched (plug and play), warranty shud be fine. Only when you cut their wires, then you risk voiding warranty

Besides full spec 1, other only have rear fog lamp switch, front fog lamp switch is another turn 1, which other than full spec don't have...

Omai.. they even use different switch? I'm impressed. I tot they'll use the same switch for that.

HI I added my a fog lamp from standard variant. It cost me rm 250 for fog and 60 for a relay. Rm10 with installation
I specifically ask them to wire it to turn on together with rear fog lamp. So when my rear fog lamp on, my front fog lamp light up as well.
From my knowledge, is very difficult to DIY, for rm300 is worth letting others do. If you want to make it to led, buy third party led that cost around Rm50 or less. The shop charge you more when you buy from them

Anyone did ecu remapping? I have no idea on this topic, I contacted a few shops at Sunway, both of them say they don't tune Proton.


I want to tune it to have a few profiles
E.g eco mode, stock, performance

Where I can switch, truth to be told no one is going to drive a car in performance mode all the time

Think I’m gonna book my Premium this weekend to lock the discounted price. Managed to test drive today but the SA said loan approval may be slow due to raya bottleneck

Aside from the Iriz rim and also HU, how do I ensure that I’ll get the latest batch and not some ready stock that’s been in the warehouse for months? D: first time buying car I’m excited but also nervous haha
