this is a good question.

however, unifi positions itself to sell broadband; unifitv is included, not sold as primary.

hence, they can do 1 yr warranty only for stb.

if u had been there n was refused, i can only suggest u try calling 100, try livechat, visit another tm point.

sometimes, it takes a few tries to get the right fella who can help.

we read from time to time, "expired" packages are still being offered case by case.

the trouble is we know tm unifi was, is and will never be totally transparent in what they offer.

worst case, wait for next promotion opportunity.

just if n when u see the chance, dun wait.

i think it is neither btu nor router but tm.

speed slowing down, disconnects do happen, a few times year.

2-3 weeks ago, i had it for 2 nights in a row.

after that, all is good again.

Hi guys, it is confirmed that after TM automatically cancelled my HyppTV package (old Ruby) due to the fact that I am also subscribing to Jumbo and Jumbo is now all in, they have added the price of old Ruby package (RM40) back into my High Speed Broadband, by reducing my discount on High Speed Broadband by RM40. Basically my bill remain the same.

I am lodging an official complaint through SKMM soon once the actual bill is generated. This is ridiculous. I was paying RM100 for 2 HyppTV packages for ages and now that they have reduced the HyppTV package price, but I am not going to enjoy it? Good job TM. I wish the new government is going to give you a really hard time.

this issue, my understanding is u will NOT get any advantage.

becos if u examine yr old or existing contract, voice recordings or billings, unifi has plugged everything for that eventuality, and u had agreed.

also, seriously, if u had been given u free jumbo/ultimate at some stage, it is quite silly to say "i want to keep free jumbo/ultimate but pay me back aneka or ruby charges". whatever is or was given free also has terms and conditions tied to it, we can be sure.

anyway, keep trying, let others know if u can get anything.
