now when u call them also they tell u go livechat on their website already. Their call centre is to check your repair or report status. Their livechat team better at helping u on the spot.

My eyes may play a trick on me, cannot find it anymore. Not on my bills, but at the Unifi website portal. At the subscribed Internet package. I thought I saw it listed 60Gb cap, but when I look for it again it’s not there.

yep.. last time it is listed under our unifi details.. 60gb monthly quota.
but it wasn't enforced.. so no cap..

i check back after upgrade/changed package no more listed.

It seems like reload to prepaid has been disabled, it is missing in the app now..

It would still be fine if the user exceeds 60GB of usage, speed to be throttled at 10mbps. After all this cheaper plan are targeted for lower income bracket and also light users.

Strange is that TM haven't reduced the price for UNIFI Pro instead they offer more than double speed.

300Mbps will be under utilized for most of us. Need to check my ASUS 87U can support more than 300Mbps or not.

But both of my unifi account don't have that quota listed at TMRewards

Spoke to CS on the phone today (5/7/2018), he mentioned that existing customer (eg VIP10/Advance @ 30/10Mbps at RM179) with HyppTV can walk in to TMpoint and ask for downgrade to UniFi LITE @ 10/5Mbps at RM129 and still access HyppTV through existing HyppTV box, major difference in the plan is that telephone calls are chargeable.

May work out for me if UniFi LITE is upgraded in August 2018 to 30Mbps (since I am on VDSL and speeds can't get better) but if UniFi LITE's download speed is only increased to 20Mbps, will be a bummer.

The real major issue is upload speed as I have an IP camera (FHD/1080p) and occasionally use remote desktop - would 5Mbps upload be sufficient?

CS encouraged me to wait till mid August 2018 to see if existing VIP10/Advance plan price is reduced.

I am currently paying RM179 (RM199 -20) for 30/10Mbps, out of contract long ago and strongly prefer not to be inconvenienced with change of telephone number (as business involved), hence did not register a new account earlier to enjoy the lower RM139 rate but get bound by new 24 months contract.

I think it’s just left over from the VIP5 days. 60GB was the quota for that and 90GB for VIP10.

Are your accounts relatively new? Mine are from right when they launched Unifi. What year I also forget already.
