Nolah it is still there, not dead. But if you go see their FB, it becomes a page where it only sends greetings to users during festivals. Nothing on wallet promotions or freebies. Even when you ask questions they always answer in a secretive way as if other users no need to know the answer. I dont know what their FB page is for. Their official account is also inactive. Isnt it sarcastic? Being a Wechat Pay Wallet but not making full use of its wechat official account?

yeah. it's possible because you can see how well Wechat Pay Hong Kong wallet is doing now. Lots of promos. And they also allowed HK Dollar to be transferred to RMB wallet, and vice versa. Remmittence.
But since HK already returns to mainland China, perhaps this is easier to be achieved.
With the progress of Wechat Malaysian wallet, I don't even dare to expect anything, ha.

Hi everyone, is there anyway to transfer fund to China mainland wechat customer via wechat or via any third party transfer? I tried wechat-MY angpow but he can't receive it.

Change to WeChat Pay CN account loh, you must have a debit card issued by a bank in China.
WCP CN and WCP MY not interlinked.

Use Bigpay, Wise etc service provider to transfer fund to bank account or UnionPay / Alipay CN account in China.

anyone facing problem in withdrawing money from wechat pay?
It needs verification. I had done all the step include photo ic, fill info, photo face then when it sends out, it show system.

If you haven't do verification, you have to go that process. Which take IC photo, then key in data (The address part cannot accept symbol), then finally is face photo which simply accept no matter how to take it then when sending data only give error. That one give me the most problem and I have to call customer service and ask them about the error code then they tell me it is verification problem and I have to guess either on IC or face part.

Pay at Wechatpay merchants before 31/8/24.
Only RM40, not difficult.
