Over RM1k more than RM10390 is not MSRP. Its criminal pricing.

And you still have to deal with fire hazard from the connector.

It’s ok, i’m lazy to debate with you. Peoples who bought the GPU are enjoying it anyway.

I am enjoying it with gaming and AI thumbsup.gif

My last desktop was around 15 years ago with a GTX 295 (Stupid SLI. Asus Flagship GPU with RM1899), the GPU temp could reach 80-90c easily. I am surprised the RTX 5090 always staying at 50+-60+ never even once reaching 70 (the gpu usage is always fluctuating at 95%-99% max i don't know why altho full setting with 4k)

Which RTX5090 are you using? The temperature is absolutely fantastic.

there are different kinds of debate back in 4090 days for melting, using 3rd party cables etc.
personally tried them, 4090 with custom 12vhpwr both worked like charm till today.
sadly had to let go 4090 but at a good price tough, while waiting for a reasonably priced local 5090. my first time in life to profit from a 2 years old gpu.

its really upset these days consumers have to deal with those risks.

still sticking with 4090 here innocent.gif
one thing that really stops me from getting 5090 is the 575W TDP. if 450W TDP then would make my hands itchy. but nooo, 575W, almost at max for what 12vhpwr can handle. and nvidia even had the guts to say the melting issue is already "fixed"
putting my eyes on 6090 instead. should be new node. hope by that time can still make profit on selling 4090...or at least, don't lose too much value

Monitor : MSI MPG 322URX QD-OLED Gaming Monitor 31.5" 240Hz UHD
GPU : MSI RTX 5090 Suprim SOC
Mobo : MPG X870E CARBON WIFI
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Ram : GS-F5-6000 64Gig
Artic Freezer III 360 ARGB-BK
Lianli EDGE EG1300 Black
Lianli PC-011 Vision Compact-B

The CPU's temp was around 50+-60+ also if if remember correct, after i overclocked it it becomes 60+-78 when gaming. So far never see it over 80c.

B580? Wait until pair with older CPU, then see again if either driver overhead or VRAM limit hits first. People buy 8GB version bcoz they got no extra money for 16GB. Doesnt make it a bad choice if you know how to play within its demands.

Wait. You wanna see people buying a new 8GB trash for almost RM2k on 2025 just to reduce settings?

Maybe atas people cant tell, but these days RM 2k is not a lot of money. Not just NVIDIA overcharging but so is AMD & Intel for what is basically low end products.

If we had a healthy used market where 2nd hand GPU can get cheap I would say go for previous gen stuff. But I saw 3060TI selling for RM 1100 which is just few hundred less than I bought new 2.5 years ago which is insanely high for used items!

There is no wins here for Msian buyers, unless your can afford for atas specs and changing GPU every gen.

Just get 16GB version. Or look for 7700 or 7800 XT when sale is on.

Radeon GPUS in Msia are overpriced vs global MSRP unless on good sale but that which predicates the series will be remove soon like 7800XT so its a very situational thing as the next gen wont come in another 2 years.

Radeon 7000series also has abysmal RT perf vs Geforces with similar price points.

Generational changeover firesales dont come every month or even every year. Dont expect 7800XT sales to carry on until next year.

Received Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Infinity today.
Just installed it, up and running.
Done with extended warranty registration.

Though.......why is the damn 12VHPWR so warm during GPU-Z stress test?
I am using FSP Hydro G PRO ATX3.0(PCIe5.0) 1000W native 12VHPWR cable.

I have an idea. Add 8cm or 12cm fan blowing the 12VHPWR.

Got 140mm side fan blowing right through.

Hopefully I don't encounter connector melting issue....... sweat.gif
I just spent my entire bonus from last year + 2 months salary on this card alone. moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

5 years warranty better be worth it.
