Hello to all owners, is there any upcoming TT session somewhere in KL?

Perhaps a whatsapp group if any?

initially feel slightly jerking at slow speed, 20-40kmh, at that time still under warranty, happen when the car hitting 98k km, SC said no issue. CVT oil still within interval, so SC does not change it. the jerking still shown during slow speed, traffic jem situation. make 3-time SC visit, all said CVT gb still in good/ normal condition. After few months later, warranty already ended, jerking become more apparent, send to outside workshop for CVT oil change. Just slightly reduce the jerkiness until one day the jerking become major and CVT light pop up. Send to workshop, foreman check the belt already burst inside, maybe not full burst since still can drive. Make decision to get them replace the belt, cost about RM4k+. The mileage was at 120k km.

some well-known CVT shop quoted rm6k for the same repair. So, choose the RM4k. After replacing the belt, Jerking-clear as brand new. Maybe will own this car for another year max b4 upgrading her.

Thanks for the info. Mine initially felt a bit jerky during negotiate parking. Got complain but say it's normal.

Mine about 200k mileage already. So far belt tensioner and 1 bearing broke. Hope this car last. Kids getting bigger, need a lot of money. Want to buy Tesla, but scrap the idea.

just change the Belt alternator (BANDO) and Belt alternator at RM 313 and 47 respectively during 100K service on Jan 23

as a 4.5 years car, so far ok except the common metal hitting noise and rear noise and the lower arm issue (complain since 1st mth but remain unsolved as of now, SC keep saying no issue then admit is lower arm issue after few years but cannot claim due to wear & tear part)

later morning going to send my car for gear box replacement at honda shah alam whereby metal dust detected during CVT oil change @ 120K service last month...been told the gear box cost RM 28K and fortunately claimable as follow strictly the service schedule

They all will say it's normal lol because if change will require major labour and a new CVT cost ~20k they die die want your car cannot move only can claim.. If you go check the HRV group on FB a lot of people complain about the belt they use... Once you reach 100K the chances of it breaking are higher... Somemore the last time I brought my car to SC check got a sound from the suspension they said it was all ok.. The second time I bring I tell directly whats the problem "Steering Rack"... Only they say Oh got sound then proceed to claim... smile.gif

Also make sure every 40k change this thing call CVT filter.. SC wont do it for you biggrin.gif they will only change the Oil but not the filter.

6 months in and every thing seems acceptable. i noticed a small rattling on the left side B-pillar recently, i guess it's only normal given how much vibrations that car has to go through daily but other than that, nothing major.

First time own HRV 2022 and would like to have some suggestions from the sifus or experience owner here.

What is the recommended 12v battery that we can replace if not replacing from Honda and any new tyre apart from Continental UC6?
