Any sales or discount going on for HRV? Is it a good time to get it now or wait till festive season like raya? My honda agent told me got 2000 discount only now..lol  ..seeemed like not a good deal..

Wanted to buy a HRV before SST comes. Been visiting showrooms, and called up the bigger show rooms. Anyone know of any dealers who have ex-stock before SST comes along? Thanks Bro.

RE: New HRV - this will come in Sep, but they allow booking (RM500) which is refundable.

Went to book the mythical - non existent in the market, cannot see, cannot touch, no price, 2018 HRV facelift. The Sales lady said, supposed to launch last month then no news, now the latest indication in November... end. WTF 

BTW anyone know what is the difference between HRV 2018 facelift vs HRV 2019.

Mine, suppose to eliminate the airplane noise when start in the morning. They change twice but the airplane noise still got. Maybe now too many claim that they rejected. Then y in th first place they produce shotty parts.

Mine 4 years 80k driven. Breakdown all the part claim under warranty.
1. Rear famos torsion beam noise. Change 4 times
2. Led head lamp. Vibrating when stop in drive.
3. Rear absorber. Noise
4. Front absorber. Noise
5. Stabilizer link. Noise
6. Drive shaft. They said vibrating under certain speed
7. Steering rack. Rumbling noise. Reduce noise but still got noise.
8. Rear left bearing. Kaput
9. Tensioner + bearing 2 times. Aeroplane noise in the morning .still got.
10. Push start button. Peeling letter. Now peeling again. Product defect.
11. Center armrest.hinge broken. Now broken again. Product defect.
12. Gear led indicator. Kaput.
13. Ceiling lamp repair twice.
Overall the car front still got noise.
I don' t know if it can hold on after warranty.

Finally added spring buffer to front and back suspension. It works great. No more boat riding.

It's when you go through a bump, the moment your rear wheel go pass it, it will feel hallow/something loose, metal hitting sound "klunk"/"tok tok" sound, you will know it's not smooth(well cushioned). This issue usually is manufacturing batch issue, not sure if your batch got kena or not.

This one is normal for me, I felt it has to do with the transmission design.
Try Honda Glenmarie, Shah Alam there.
The electronic parking brake will make a noise when you engage it.
For me it was the rear axle beam, as after changing it at Glenmarie it was solved. Other car owners may have different issues depending on manufacturing and driving.

Hi all, planning to buy new HRV RS. Is the current HRV still having the rear axle sound issue? Or any other problems that should br aware of?

initially feel slightly jerking at slow speed, 20-40kmh, at that time still under warranty, happen when the car hitting 98k km, SC said no issue. CVT oil still within interval, so SC does not change it. the jerking still shown during slow speed, traffic jem situation. make 3-time SC visit, all said CVT gb still in good/ normal condition. After few months later, warranty already ended, jerking become more apparent, send to outside workshop for CVT oil change. Just slightly reduce the jerkiness until one day the jerking become major and CVT light pop up. Send to workshop, foreman check the belt already burst inside, maybe not full burst since still can drive. Make decision to get them replace the belt, cost about RM4k+. The mileage was at 120k km.

some well-known CVT shop quoted rm6k for the same repair. So, choose the RM4k. After replacing the belt, Jerking-clear as brand new. Maybe will own this car for another year max b4 upgrading her.
