Just report if you are under warranty... If can try to go for a test drive with the technician to point out what sound you are hearing.

HRV 2017.. Went for tein endura pro plus with stock absorber.. It is a little expensive compared to OEM/Showa/Kyb, but its worth it (160km/h no feeling).. No need to get those adjustable absorbers. Just a bit of advice, replace those rubber mounting while at it.

I think what to look out for are absorbers, bushes (Not only the front but the back too), suspension link, steering rack, auto tensioner, belt, mileage and also the condition of the car as well as the maintenance. But the big risk here is the CVT, as Honda is known for their easily broken CVT belt that can happen anytime anywhere.. So need to prepare ~5k to fix it if it breaks.

to hr-v 2022 owner, what do you guys think this car doesnt come with the rear anti-collision bar ?

i have checked some local youtube video where they remove dthe rear bumper and yes ..... it's nothing.

I think u should lodge a complaint to honda malaysia first.
My friend booked a City and waited for 2 months still couldn't get the car so he emailed Honda Malaysia to ask about it. It turnouts that they have discontinued the production of City coz they will launch new City soon. But the SA never inform my friend. Then his SA immediately receive a call from Honda Malaysia.

Just recond my gearbox due to cvt.. Damage was rm6.5k. Mileage was about 125k plus.

Almost same mileage but around rm4k repair
