The full page flyer of the soon-to-launch revamped Hotlink Postpaid plan. Offering for Hotlink Postpaid and Fibre looks the same.

They didn’t change the plans’ name. MaxisONE or Maxis Postpaid as they are now known, simply get whatever upgrades whenever Maxis upgraded them.

Actually, the old Hotlink Flex flyer that I took from Maxis Centre early last year had a clause saying up to 30Mbps speed too but based on users feedbacks, it is not enforced. Not sure if they finally will enforce it now.

as long got quota....definitely won't enforce speed lo.
the faster you use the quota.....good for them if you wanna topup quota or upgrade to higher plan.

RM30 for 1GB of high speed data? How high is the speed? 100Mbps or 200Mbps?

I think I just know what does premium telco mean now. Really premium for your wallet.

downgrade from oneplan to hotlink not allow, but within hotlink should be ok. already requested to change from  hotlink postpaid to HUP, still pending.

does that mean we can downgrade from RM 60 plan to RM 50 plan say? The new plan more worth it for RM 50 than my curent RM 60 plan that i changed few months ago (10 GB YouTube + 10 GB Fast Internet)

Last year I subscribe to Hotlink Postpaid Flex at Maxis The Garden, the staff didn't told me regarding speed cap at all laugh.gif
Hope they won't enforce right now, although 30mbps is more than enough to stream youtube / twitch

As long as you are not on contract, then yes. You are free to switch to another Hotlink Postpaid plan anytime.

that HL50 look real sweet for my parents ... the clause "up to 30Mbps speed" does it means that your speed varies from place to place & time of day but max is 30Mbps ?

seems alright to stream HD movies, facebook & youtube for parents.

Me to thinking the same, any idea how much it costs for to add additional data? Like for example we have utilize all the 21GB? Is the rate same as per current rm10 for 10gb. That would be a bonus.

i have managed to downgrade my Maxis One Plan 98 + Maxis One Share 48 to Hotlink Postpaid 60+60. Just walk in to Maxis Centre, tell them you want to change to prepaid and Retention Department will call within 72 hours. Don't need to switch to prepaid eventually, they just split my supplementary line to a new account.

That depends if you are happy with Digi. You are very likely to get a call from customer retention department when they receive your port-out request. Their offer will definitely surprise you and you may not want to port-out in the end.

However, if Digi network is below par at your place, then think no further. Just port-out.

You may want to consider the revamped Xpax Postpaid Lite M Plan too. It costs RM38/month and you get 8GB data, unlimited YouTube (SD) and unlimited calls. If you watch a lot of YouTube, that plan may just be more suitable for you since YouTube really can use up a lot of data.

The so-called revamped Hotlink Postpaid is not new, Maxis said.

Internet Pass (HUP45) is not linked to account's validity... This is the confusing part about PRE-paid services... Have to strategically topup/reload (RM30 or RM40) on the same day we "intend" to buy the HUP35/45/passes...

What you may do now is buy the validity thru the app at RM1/day validity (if U hv extra credit/balance in the account). Else, just topup after the inactive/Grace Period following the remaining days of HUP45 "access"... Remember that every RM1 topup/reload is 1 day validity/active status...

Yeah... Me too... But after awhile, we can handle it easily... Just remember, RM1 = 1 day validity...

There's one more "issue" about PRE-paid plans... It's the topup/reload denomination... We are forced to topup /reload at certain denomination... Usually, RM5, RM10, RM30, RM50, RM100...
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

We cannot topup for odd weird Ringgit, say, RM18... There's no option to reload for RM18... In the sample pix above, to get 18 days validity, we are forced to topup RM10 first... Then, after the 10 days validity ended, another RM10 afterwards... LOL... Confused more now...? LOL...

Well, can topup RM10 x 2 on the same day to get 10+10 days validity, right? The answer is "No". Validity / active status for Hotlink is not "accumulated". If we topup RM10 twice on the same day, the validity is still 10 days... So, in this instance, RM1 = 1 day validity is not "enforced"...

POST-paid doesn't have validity / active status... That's one of the advantages of POST-paid...
