May I know which Maxis Centre did you go ? The franchise one or directly operated by Maxis ? If you are still facing issue, I suggest you to go to either Maxis Centre at The Gardens, Plaza Lowyat, Pavillion, KLCC if you’re in KL area. Maxis Centre Sumway Pyramid is ok too.

Went Maxis Centre that have the full authority that operated by Maxis itself which is The Gardens, maybe I'll visit again and record the staff if still told with the same answer.

I did not say I want to change from Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink Flex directly. I said from Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink, any Hotlink product that is available as of now which is Hotlink RED. I know it is possible as reported earlier by many but Maxis center staff are too ignorant and keep repeating no for this request.
*
perhaps you can ask on twitter, if it's possible then bring the screenshot to them if they still refuse.

Really? Do u mind telling which service center u went that performed ur request without MNP?
Btw, if a Hotlink number is terminated after expiry, how to get back the number since it still not being recycle / used. Went to Gardens CS, was told need to subscribe MOP plan at least 6 months in order to retrieve back the number. I know this is BS but what to do yawn.gif

Maxis center quensbaymall penang. Maybe ur case is inactive number. Maybe that’s why they make a hassle for u.

No, switching from Postpaid to Prepaid and terminated number are 2 different cases, just ask as when posting in similar topic.
Called Maxis Hotline and they said changing from Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink can be done provided is it primary line and without contract. Told them the case where staff in Maxis center said cannot and they said if they repeat same thing again, immediately call Maxis Hotline.

Show the FAQ in Hotlink Postpaid Flex page. It stated that any plan can switch to Hotlink Flex except Maxis Postpaid plan.
CODE
Who can sign-up for these plans?
These plans are open to all consumers, including port-ins, pre-to-post migration, and new registrations.

Why RM55/month? There is no T&C mention that compulsory to subscribe the add-on mega_shok.gif

Yes I ported in 2 numbers to Flex basic rm30. One number from Digi and one from U Mobile. No problems at all completed within 24 hours. Did at Maxis TTDI. They did not try to upsell me.

Guys

If porting from Maxis Postpaid to Hotlink Red is allowed, how about porting out from Hotlink Flex to Hotlink Red, is this allowed too?

hotlink I am keen on this Hotlink plan but have some questions

1) is there any GST imposed on the monthly commitment of RM30 or the data charge of rm25

2) can the monthly commitment of rm30 and the data charge of rm25 be charged automatically to the credit card

Reason for this is cos I want to give my elderly relative this facility but don't want the hassle of reloading every month.

Appreciate your kind feedback

Yesterday I’m at Sunway Pyramid Maxis Centre wanted to change my Hotlink Fast to Hotlink Flex. First they ask me whether I’m on 012 or 017 and when I said it’s 012, they said cannot because Hotlink Flex is for new registration only. Pissed, I called their supervisor/manager showed the website T&C and finally they allowed me to change then they said this package we’re targeting for new customers but if existing customers wanted to change can it’s just they have extra “procedure” to do in order for me to change. (I don’t know what that means). Quite hassle but I get what I want.

Yes. RM30 + 6% GST. The data add-on is also liable for GST.

Despite the confusing name/branding, this Hotlink Flex is actually a Postpaid plan. So yes. You can sign-up for auto-debit and they will bill the monthly fee to your credit card every month.

Tqvm for your kind reply. So that means I don't have to worry about credit. Say I call IDD the charges will be reflected in the next month bill
