I don’t know what weird about ur case. Mine change from MOP 98 to hotlink fast in a jiffy last November. Just dont go directly to Flex. Go Red first. Sometimes the CS don’t know what they’re talking about or maybe they’re referring to Flex. Ask clearly bro

I got friends also changed from maxis postpaid to Hotlink Fast last year. No problems at all.

Else tells them I will mop to other prepaid Telco

hotlink I am keen on this Hotlink plan but have some questions

1) is there any GST imposed on the monthly commitment of RM30 or the data charge of rm25

2) can the monthly commitment of rm30 and the data charge of rm25 be charged automatically to the credit card

Reason for this is cos I want to give my elderly relative this facility but don't want the hassle of reloading every month.

Appreciate your kind feedback

Yes. RM30 + 6% GST. The data add-on is also liable for GST.
Despite the confusing name/branding, this Hotlink Flex is actually a Postpaid plan. So yes. You can sign-up for auto-debit and they will bill the monthly fee to your credit card every month.

Tqvm for your kind reply. So that means I don't have to worry about credit. Say I call IDD the charges will be reflected in the next month bill
